Everyone loves Roo. Theatre fans line up for him like a Midwestern Glee Club tryin' to win the Hamilton lottery. For the secular crew, this is a funny, sketch-like Christmas show full of original musical comedy numbers. It's 2016 and we need more than another chorus Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer to turn up our millenial Christmas spirit! Roo's shows are light, happy and extremely well-written and executed. Guest artists are top NYC talent. Booking Roo-ining Christmas is akin to hiring the cast of a Broadway Musical on an HR/Party-planning committee budget. :)
Roo-ining Christmas came to my office last year for a holiday party and completely brought the house down. To be frank, it was a tough time around the office, lots of low morale, but by the time we finished Roo's show, we were all in the holiday spirit. This isn't cheesy, or mean-spirited, it's a warm, fun show that's funny and smart. Lots of carols and original songs and just the right amount of audience participation. He also worked with our team here to tailor the performance to our office. I wish we could have him come every month of the year!
