Ruby party band is a 6-piece band with male & female lead singers that specializes in Weddings, Private Parties, and Corporate Events, and is also available for wineries and festivals. What's unique about us is:
- Three lead singers who are among the best in Northern Calif. One on American Idol.
- Full band with two guitars and keyboards for authentic music
- We get everyone on to the dance floor for longer than they thought they could!
We perform in the 9-county Bay Area, Santa Cruz/Carmel/Monterey, Napa Valley, Sonoma, Sacramento, and Tahoe and Reno. We play dance songs from the 80's, 90's and 2000's -- across a range of rock, pop, country and R&B -- including dinner & cocktail music.

Party Band
My wife and I went in search of an incredible wedding band and we found it with Ruby Wedding and Party Band. The whole team, from the lead singers to the sound and light techs, was amazing to work with. Every step of the way they were courteous, on top of the details, and available to hop on a Zoom or respond to an email with our venue and our wedding planner. They took it upon themselves to make sure power and sound were all taken care of *and* they even tried to make sure we had tenting for the outdoor wedding (it wasn't even their job) just to take a load off of our plate. I'd hire this band again and again, and, if they'll do it for our 5 or 10 year wedding anniversary. Thanks!

Ruby Band was an absolute blast at our wedding! Everyone loved the music, and the band kept the dance floor moving until we had to shut it down. They were a pleasure to work with. What to Expect
The Ruby Band specializes in Weddings, Corporate Events, and exclusive Private Parties. The players and singers in the Ruby band are first and foremost ... entertainers! We're a fun band that audiences have a lot of fun listening to, dancing to, and singing along with! Because of our experience we know how to plan and coordinate with hosts and event planners.
We are completely self-contained, and bring professional sound equipment, lighting equipment, and a great look! We can even bring a portable stage and/or dance floor as an option. We generally do 50-55 minute sets, with 10-12 min. break between sets. If the event is a dinner or wedding, we can start with or intersperse dinner music that is softer and enables people to have conversations at their tables. We can also provide live acoustic background music at wedding ceremonies.
Our sound system is always available to the hosts of the event for announcements, speeches, and to play recordings.

We perform in the San Francisco Bay Area, Santa Cruz/Carmel, Napa Valley, Marin, Sacramento, and Tahoe and Reno. We play dance songs from the 80's, 90's and 2000's -- across a range of rock, pop, country and R&B -- including dinner & cocktail music. We are one of the few party and event bands that can authentically perform a whole night of 80's songs at one show, and the next day authentically perform a whole night of contemporary pop hits from the (phone number hidden)3 era. It is because the diverity of talent of our singers & musicians.
Two to four of our lead singers perform at each show.
- Maddy Hudson was a contestant on American Idol, appearing in 4 televised episodes after successfully auditioning for Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr. She is a songwriter and recording artist. In the Ruby Band Maddy is especially talented at performing songs by Amy Winehouse, Taylor Swift, Megan Trainor, Shania Twain, Dua Lipa, and Doja Cat.
- Andreea Keller, originally from Romania, recorded and toured in Europe before coming to the U.S. She is a songwriter and recording artist with an extraordinary vocal range whose repertoire spans from Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Sia and Rhiannon - to - Joan Jett, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner.
- JourneyDay Rhorer is also a well known solo performer all over Napa and Sonoma counties, performing at hotels and wineries. He is also the bandleader, arranger, and lead singer for the a capella band Take Flight. In the Ruby Band Journey's singing bilities are diverse and range from Elvis Presley, Righteous Brothers and Frank Sinatra - to - Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, Bruno Mars, Zac Brown, Darius Rucker.
- Brooks Lundy is also in a Sting/Police tribute band playing the part of Sting. He is a multi-instrumentalist and very versatile singer able to render authentic covers of 80's rock from Bon Jovi, Journey, Bryan Adams, AC/DC, Guns+Roses, The Police, and Def Leppard.
Additional Booking Notes
We are entirely self-sufficient as regards equipment and lighting. We just need two 15-amp or 20-amp circuits within 50 ft. of the stage area. The minimum size stage area we require is 17 ft. wide x 13 ft. deep. For outdoor events during the rainy season (Sept 15 to May 31) host must provide a covered stage due to possible rain interfering with electrical and electronic devices which can cause damage and injuries. For outdoor events in hot climates during July and August host must provide a canopy or roof over the performance area for shade.
