Running Violet

Running Violet is an alternative rock band playing 1964 in 2016. Combining rock and roll, folk, indie and punk, they blend a unique collection of eclectic tastes. Drawing influences from bands like The Rolling Stones, Metric, The Strokes, and Mumford and Sons, their sound is multi-dimensional and one-of-a-kind.

Running Violet prides themselves in their live show. Ensuring that the audience is having fun at the forefront, accompanied by great music, the band delivers a high-energy, interactive performance that engages the audience and gets everyone dancing. You can expect a fun-filled, memorable show.

Running Violet is a Toronto-based rock group comprised of Jordo Arnott (vocals), Peter Balaz (guitar), Bradley Connor (drums), and Ben Muller (bass).

Each member brings a different musical style to the table, combining rock and roll, folk, indie and punk, they blend a unique collection of eclectic tastes. Drawing influences from bands like The Rolling Stones, Metric, The Strokes, and Mumford and Sons, their sound is multi-dimensional and one-of-a-kind.

With their debut EP, You Could Be Dancing, Running Violet showcases their diversity in performance and sound. The album transitions from 60’s rock to early punk tossing in hints of folk and modern alternative.

Running Violet is currently performing throughout Ontario in support of their debut EP, You Could Be Dancing, while working on their full-length album due out fall of 2017.
