Russell was great. He played great French Bistro music for our guests as they entered for dinner. He was so very nice to work with and we loved his music.
The Friends of the Annapolis Symphony thanks him very much.
Response from Russell A. Wilson:
Dear Marguerite,
Thank you so much for the kind review and for hiring me! Congratulations on a successful evening!
Russell was AMAZING! Fun to work with and very engaging. My staff really enjoyed having him at our event.
We celebrated our Mom's 90th birthday at Kings Contrivance. There was a lot of Sicilian blood in the room! Mom's cousins played the accordion and we have many memories, growing up, of dancing and singing with the family. Russell played Tarantellas, Sinatra, Bennett, Big Band and Patriotic music. Guests danced and sang! His talent is superb!!!
Thank you Russell!

Great as always, will use him again if available ×
Russell was a hit! He was absolutely fantastic. So many people commented on his skills. Would book him again in a heartbeat. Super friendly and engaging, too!
I can't describe how great the vibe was in our bakehouse with Russell there. 100% would use him again if he was up for it.
Russell did a great job providing our Roaring '20s Party entry music. He played ragtime and other period pieces , and was dressed in Gatsby attire. I was impressed that he did it all from memory, with no sheet music! I would definitely recommend Russell as a performer. Thanks Russell!
Everyone enjoyed the music, perfect!
Russell arrived on time, showed up in his festive Lederhosen outfit, and played really fun Oktoberfest theme music for a corporate Oktoberfest event. He even took requests and played the US Military theme medley for our office full of military vets! We are all very pleased and look forward to working with Russell again for future events!
Accordion German music. Russel arrived in costume, set up & played without any managing. Great time
Talented and personable musician who was able to provide a fun playlist to entertain adults and small children at a family 40th birthday. Highly recommend!
Response from Russell A. Wilson:

I'm a practical keyboard player. If you want background music, a sit-down concert, or a sing-along, I can provide it on the piano, electric keyboard, or the accordion. My music can be showy, peppy, elegant, classy, or jazzy, loud or soft -- whatever you want! I know thousands of songs in all the keys and take requests. If I don't know the song, I can learn it by listening. I enjoy making music with musicians of all skill levels - professionals & amateurs, young & old, and the musically literate and illiterate. I can also sight read anything!
Russell Wilson of Clinton, MD began piano lessons at age 7 and by age 12 began playing hymns for his church. He earned a Bachelor's degree in classical piano performance and a Masters degree in jazz, both from the University of Maryland in College Park. In 2002, while a junior in college, he joined the President's Own US Marine Band where he plays all kinds of music styles on the piano, harpsichord, accordion, and keyboard in public concerts and private events at the White House and all around Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. In 2010, Russell won the Carolina Ragtime Competition, and in 2013 he won the World Championship Old Time Piano Playing Contest. He is married to Elizabeth, who teaches their four children at their home in College Park, MD.
I only require an electrical power outlet, but only if I'm playing my electric keyboard.
