A mellow balladeer who does a lot of finger picking.
Started playing in 1964 so that means I have been at it 51 years. Started out as rocker playing Beatles tunes. Still do a finger picking cover of Dear Prudence as well as Here Comes the Sun and Two of Us. These days I like a nice mellow environment for my nice mellow music. I am from the same town in West Virginia (Glen Dale) as country star Brad Paisley. I lived on 7th Street and he lived on 8th street. Never met him though as I am bit older than Brad. I don't play country and western however. My big influences were the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Donovan and Gordon Lightfoot.
