A high energy folk band that blends Celtic tunes, old Americana and Sixties folk with fun, frolic and snappy banter. We play for large groups or small, indoors or out, history events or pub gigs and house concerts and we always have fun. Our audiences laugh, sing along and leave with a tune in their head, a song in their heart and a smile on their face.
A wonderful band! Fun and entertaining. A good experience that I highly recommend. We will definitely have them back.

A good time! We play music that is fun and often familiar so the audience gets in the act as well. More than that, we joke and banter between songs to keep the joy and humor rollicking on. We like to think of our shows as music with personality. Our repertoire includes Irish tunes, Celtic and American folk songs, old sea shanties and folk songs from the revival days of the 1950s and 60s. Our instrumentation covers all the folk favorites: guitar, banjo, mandolin, tin whistle, flute and Scottish drum. Our performances are toe-tapping, sing-a-long fun rides like the old day's of hootenannies and shindigs we grew up with. Fun for the whole family.
Rusty Musket has been playing together since 2010. Just four gentlemen with love for folk music and entertaining. We started with folk music of a Celtic flavor and moved quickly to old Americana and the music of the folk revival of the 50s and 60s. It is all fun music to play and fun for the audience because they can join in. Because we all have re-enacting backgrounds, we've played a number of history events as well as local pubs. All in all it is just great to play music we love with friends and get to share that joy with an audience.
We can bring our own sound system and simply need an outlet. Our system has easily handled everything from small rooms, to pubs, to outdoor venues. It is a 600W Peavey system with 18" speakers. We don't require any special lighting.
