R.X. Bertoldi & Son are a family duo that perform original and cover Americana / Roots Rock & Acoustic Blues tunes. Two of R.X.'s recordings have been heard often on SiriusXM's Coffeehouse program. His songs have won & placed in major songwriting contests. They perform acoustic blues and ballads to more upbeat rocking numbers, depending on the venue and event. Covers include songs by The Stones, Dylan, JJ Cale, and Carl Perkins, and blues by Robert Johnson and Willie Dixon. Dad R.X. provides strong lyrics and vocals, acoustic gtr. and harmonica; son Luca's drumming is steady and tasteful. Their first studio EP "Taking Back the Time" made the AMA Radio Chart for over 4 months running.
