Ryan Argast is the lead vocalist of the award winning and national touring pop rock band, Marina City. As seen on American Idol, WGN news, MTV, (and a popular singing competition show in 2024) Argast is known for his signature raspy powerful vocals and his passionate performances. Available for private parties, weddings, funerals, restaurants, bars, hotels, etc. Book a completely intimate acoustic set or have Argast provide instrumental backing tracks for an upbeat experience. Argast specializes in Pop, Rock, Country, Folk, and Alternative music spanning from the '70s to today but can also take special requests with notice. All sound can be provided and performances can be up to 4 hours.

Wow! Words can’t express how Ryan made our magical wedding day all the more special. Ryan is truly special talent with an incredible voice. We received Numerous compliments from our guests on how great the singer was and how we found him. Not only did he nail our first dance song, he was very accommodating with all of our song requests. Ryan was very attentive throughout the night and arrived early setting up which put us at ease. He was always quick to respond to emails throughout the process.

Argast has 17 years of live performance experience. He's toured the nation's biggest stages, played hundreds of weddings, and performs daily in Chicago's premiere restaurants. Event planners can expect a mesmerizing vocal performance expanding several decades of musical favorites from the 1970s until today. Choose an intimate acoustic set that allows Argast to lean in to his emotionally driven powerful vocals or book an interactive and engaging concert for your event. Argast carefully crafts each set to include songs that are sure to make every person, regardless of age, want to join in on the fun.
About
Ryan Argast is a vocalist, songwriter, and frontman of the alternative pop rock trio, Marina City, Argast and the band have been crowned Band of the Year by Ernie Ball, Cumulus Media and more. Since 2012 the band has gained a world wide following while featured on Warped Tour, Riot Fest, South By Southwest, and Q101 PIQNIQ. Songs “Man in The Mirror”and “Addicted” have both reached over 1.5million streams on Spotify and radio airplay across the country. Argast’s signature raw vocal tone was met with multiple standing ovations from judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie beating out nearly 100,000 contestants on American Idol. He has appeared on WGN news, ABC news, Daytime Chicago, and MTV. As a songwriter Argast has written music for television and commercials including Teen Mom 2, and the Chicago Bulls. When home from tour Argast performs in the premiere wedding band, Lake Shore Encores under Gold Coast Events, and performs solo acoustic cover sets all across Chicago’s renowned hotels and restaurants. In 2022 Argast released the solo record, Twice on Sundays, dedicated to his family. The single “Empty Chair” has been used in grade school curriculums for Poetry dissection. In the spring of 2024 Argast will be featured on another popular singing show that will coincide with new music from Marina City.
