Ryan's voice was a fan favorite with my corporate group in the Gaslamp Quarter. His entire vibe, "look & feel" and song choices were all stellar. As a professional meeting planner, I was VERY impressed with his organizational skills, promptness in returning emails/texts and ability to understand exactly what I needed for my group's private function. He was able to "talk the talk" with the hotel too that hosted my event. I would hire Ryan again in a heartbeat for both professional & personal events. On top of everything, Ryan's kindness and personality truly made this meeting professional very happy and my group loved his performance.

Ryan was the perfect addition to our party celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. He's a wonderful musician, great voice, but he also doesn't need to be in the spotlight and will just jam and sing while people are enjoying each other and chatting or eating etc.
Great at communication, he has an extensive playlist to choose from, he's punctual, and professional. Thanks, Ryan.
Acoustic Band, Singing Guitarist
Ryan was fantastic. Everybody at the party commented on how incredible he was. He was also very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend him again. My only advice would be to hurry up and book him before he gets too famous!

We could not be happier the way our wedding turned out and a huge part of that success was because of Ryan. He played at our ceremony, played our cocktail hour, and was our MC and DJ for the rest of the night. He really does it all! Our guests could not stop raving about his performance at the ceremony or how fun he helped make our reception.

About
Ryan Hiller is a highly skilled entertainer who delivers memorable performances that are full of passion, energy, and truly great music. He is a highly accomplished, technically-proficient, guitar professional & singer who can bring a crowd to their feet with his own songs or by perfectly rendering a standard cover. He has written and composed dozens of original songs and opened up for such greats as Van Morrison, Elton John, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Doobie Brothers, John Mayer, The Steve Miller Band, Don Felder of The Eagles, Keb Mo, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, John Scofield, Styx, The Black Eyed Peas, Lyle Lovett, Chris Isaak, and Brandi Carlile to name but a few. Ryan’s expertise has also garnered him sponsorship from Fender, Taylor Guitars, Sennheiser Microphones, Gator Cases, and LR Baggs Pickups, some of the biggest names in the industry.
As a child just picking up the guitar, Ryan was soon trying to emulate licks from the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton. In high school Ryan discovered jazz, and from there he went on to pursue both his own music and the world of jazz at the University of Utah. As an Allstate Jazz guitar award winner (in high school), he truly understood that hard work is very important, even if one has lots of talent. Continuing his pursuit of the roots of American music, Ryan decided to go to the source: He left home and moved to New Orleans where he ultimately graduated from the University of New Orleans with a BA in Jazz Performance. From there he went on to play and develop his own music. He constantly refines both his solo & full band acts while also gleaning experience from as many other diverse musical opportunities as he can. Naturally, he has performed in acoustic duos, rock trios, and Hip Hop jazz groups, and he was also a performer with a 12-piece horn funk/soul band, and a large format gospel choir with over 50 people. Ryan has performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, The Voodoo Festival, the Sundance Festival, several House of Blues venues in the U.S., and even the Belly Up in Solana Beach, CA among many other notable venues around the country. Folks are always looking for new, fresh, great music and the next great entertainer to stir them and move them. Without a doubt, Ryan Hiller is that person.
