I am a solo singer-songwriter with decades of live experience, solo and in a band called Dubbest. In my solo shows, I play a range of classic reggae, soul and popular covers as well as some originals, using my Nord keyboard (or a guitar), voice and a drum machine. I am a flexible musician with a range of styles, and I'll bring the fun and the soul to your event without a doubt.
I’ve followed Ryan for years and I’ve seen nothing but his dedication and love for his art. I’ve seen him put blood, sweat, and tears into his music, weather it paid or not and for me, that goes a long way. I think he’s highly under appreciate and worth giving your business to. He’ll do private parties like weddings, birthdays etc and I know he does private music lessons. I’ll even see him at festivals, or traveling to other states around the country. Thaxter is a multi-instrumentalist, solo musician and producer with several decades of live, studio and touring experience. He started making music in Massachusetts, touring and recording with the band Dubbest (2009-present), an original roots-reggae group with heavy 70s and 80s influence.
Through the years Ryan Thaxter has maintained a flow of solo work as well, making stripped down soul and ambient-rock. Thaxter's latest release, an album entitled Rewind, is available on all platforms now.
I am a solo performer, I usually play keyboard and sing, and often am accompanied by a drum machine for a little extra energy. I often play acoustic guitar interchangeably in the set. I am happy to provide my own sound system for a small charge. I have a trustable sound system that sounds great in medium or small rooms, clubs, yards etc.

Have an Ibanez acoustic-electric guitar and I have my own mics and PA etc if necessary.
