We are so happy we chose Ryan to sing & perform and DJ at our wedding. We had a small wedding with our closest friends and family, less than 25 people (thanks COVID =) ). Ryan was easy to work with throughout the entire process from contracting, to picking out songs, and hearing suggestions. Everyone at the wedding loved his performances and renditions of the songs he played. Ryan was even nice enough to learn a few songs for our “special” dances. After performing throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner, he DJ’d for the rest of the night for everyone to dance. We had a great time and can’t recommend him enough.
Response from Ryan Cook Music:
Hey Ashley, it was such a pleasure and honor to play live music / DJ for your wedding. Thanks for sharing your music experience with the world and see ya around :-)
This is our second time using Ryan. First for a birthday party and second for our wedding and both times he did not disappoint. Ryan is an amazing musician and a true professional. He helped guide us through our special song choices and went above and beyond to learn our songs. At both our events our guests had nothing but rave reviews. When you watch Ryan play you can tell he really loves what he does. I would 100% recommend him to play for any occasion you have.

Thank you Ashley. You and Steve are a great couple and its always nice to see and play music for you and your people/family!
LOVED THESE GUYS! They were so nice and professional- and truly talented. Ryan sent me music choices ahead of my party and I was able to work with him to pick the perfect playlist for the Woodstock theme! All of my guests really enjoyed the music and we had a fabulous time. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your next party!
Ryan was fantastic. Very talented. Plays pretty much anything you want to hear. We had him for a neighborhood party and he was a huge hit with everyone. Plus a very nice guy and very professional. Highly recommend him.

At points, you may wonder if it is just Ryan up there or a small band. Since Ryan has worked at playing as a solo musician for a while now, he has incorporated (among other things) percussion, whistling, and looping the rhythm guitar so he can play a lead in addition to it.
Hands on/Hands off… depends on your preference... Planning your event with Ryan will likely leave you feeling confident that this is going to be just the kind of experience you created in your imagination to sure that this is the right place for you to completely delegate this responsibility.

Ryan Cook is a Musician, Band Leader and a DJ. Ryan is perfect for you if are looking to hire one person to perform live music as well as recorded music later for dancing. Have you checked out my videos? Go see for yourself! Further, being both a Musician and a DJ has economical and time/energy saving benefits which are not to be underestimated. You no longer have to coordinate hiring two different organizations to have travel & set up separately for your event/wedding. These not insignificant costs. Keep that for something fun
Ryan does this full-time and is a professional from the planning in the very beginning to the performance. Ryan performs frequently as a Soloist, Duo and Trio. Being this flexible, Ryan is capable of delivering on a wide variety of your visions. What is your vision? Here's to a event you and your guests will fondly remember 🥂

I come with my own equipment so you don't need to worry about a thing. If you have a nice system already set up we can hook up to that once we find out if it meets our needs or not.
Specialty services include:
- Ryan plays well and often as a duo. This will usually consist of Ryan asking a female vocalist to join him for a portion or the entire event. The harmonies are truly beautiful and can really add something special to the experience.
- A small band is possible
- DJ- many events can include hiring a musician and/or a DJ which can be a headache. Well… hire Ryan and he can do both!
