Safiya Nawaar Performing Artist

My friends organized my 60th birthday party and made a surprise inviting Safiya belly dancer. She entertained all of us and no words to express. She did a 30mts non stop dancing. The highlights were she had a sword on her head and danced without that falling.

Safiya is a wonderful belly dancer. She is very talented. She coordinated with us every thing , was on time, accommodated all our requests. Our bday party was a blast because of her dance performance. I would highly recommend Safiya.

Safiya was absolutely wonderful. She was very flexible in working with the chaos of trying to surprise my husband for his birthday. Our sound system wasn't the best and some of Safiya's music was drowned out by the noise of the room, but she took it all in good grace and did an amazing job of adjusting her performance. Safiya performed at the Bowling Green International Festival this September 2011. We have gone to the Festival every year for the past 6 years and have always enjoyed the entertainment.

My wife is from Egypt and was really impressed with Safiya's performance. She used mostly traditional music and her personality on stage and her movements were very authentic. You'd almost think SHE was Arabic. We enjoyed her dancing so much we have decided to hire her to perform at our upcoming wedding anniversary celebration.

I had the pleasure to attend a show at Natasha's Bistro in Lexington where the Safiya Nawaar Dance Company put on an hour long show. While some of the dancers were obviously students not professionals, the show all in all was Excellent! Safiya did most of the dances and her she was just mesmerizing on the stage. Most of the performances were very authentic Arabic Belly Dance, but they did have a few other styles of dance that were Middle Eastern influenced but not authentic. My wife and I really enjoyed the show, and plan to keep our eyes open for when they do it again, it was well worth my time and money.

I hired Safiya to dance at my wedding anniversary party, my wife wanted an Arabian Nights themed party and we thought a belly dancer would be perfect. Safiya was a little more expensive than what I wanted to pay, but after shopping around I realized she was the one we wanted. She was very professional and asked a lot of questions about our party and what we wanted. Her performance was exceptional, she was very entertaining and my guests just loved the show. I would definitely recommend her to anyone interested in having a beautiful dancer at their party.

I hired Safiya to perform at my fathers 75th birthday party. She was on time, dressed in a very beautiful costume and ready to perform when we needed her. I had also hired a live band at the last minute and she was able to dance to their music without any prior notice. At the end of her performance she had everyone on the floor dancing.

Safiya performed the ending dance at the 6th annual Peace & Global Citizenship Fair (May 14, Lexington, KY). It was a lovely dance. She then invited people to join her in a simple dance - this was a lot of fun. She is a most gracious and dependable person. I'm glad that she is part of our community.

We love Safiya's performances. Safiya is a joy to watch. Audiences love to watch Safiya perform and it is a very classy performance. The best of the best in the Middle Eastern Dancing! Safiya has performed at three of Solaris Art's Art Shows and people enjoy watching Safiya perform.
