Salida Circus is Colorado's most unique troupe of stilt walkers, aerialists, acrobats, magicians, jugglers face painters, and balloon twisters! Established in 2007, Salida Circus has performed throughout Colorado (Taste of Denver, Crestone Music Festival, Winter Park Resort, Fort Collin Lincoln Center, Breckenridge Riverwalk Center, Pro Challenge Queens Stage), New Mexico (Santa Fe Children's Museum, Wise Fool Circus Center, Santa Fe Public Libraries), and California (Hollywood Bowl, Bowers Museum, Laguna Sawdust Festival, Balboa Bay Club).
I hired one of the performers from the group for a personal event. So easy to work with and great communication. Everything was perfect!
I have had the opportunity to work with Salida Circus on many occasions and they always do a great job for us. Super talented staff that show up on-time or early, are completely self sufficient, and provide everything they need on site so that I can focus on the rest of my event. I said 5 stars but if I could give 10 I would. Hire them, you won't be disappointed!
Such a joy having Salida on site during our roaming arts festival. She was great with kids and adults alike, watching the kids eyes light up at the stilt walker was a highlight from the event. Thank you and you will definitely be apart of our annual event!

We booked Salida Circus for an annual community/client appreciation party and we are absolutely thrilled that we did! Jennifer was very responsive, professional and accommodating throughout the process. Salida arrived promptly at our event and were wonderful with our guests. When a balloon vendor did not show, they stepped up and filled in, even when it wasn't a part of the contract. Salida Circus truly went above and beyond to ensure our guests had a memorable experience.

Salida Art Walk is an annual arts celebrations of the Arkansas River Valley in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Each year we hire Salida Circus to entertain the thousands of visitors from around the world to this three day festival. The circus' performers are not only talented in their discipline but are personable to the questioning and mesmerized crowds. We had the Salida Circus come to Florissant to give us a personalized workshop. We had 7 adults and 6 kids taking the workshop and everyone had an amazing time. The session was tailored to individual needs and we got to try a variety of circus acts, including aerial arts, juggling, stilts, and acrobatics. It was reasonably priced and so much fun. We definitely plan on doing this again in the future!
The Salida Circus was a professional and courteous group to book and work with. Their performances at our Halloween event were spectacular; the children and parents all loved watching and interacting with every part of the troupe. We had a magician, a balloon artist, and several stiltwalkers and it was fantastic. The Salida Circus added an element to our event and were very reasonably priced.
The Salida Circus was a wonderful experience for everyone! They engaged the audience, included children, and performed professional routines to the amazement of the crowd. A very family friendly venue. We will definitely ask them to come again.
When we ask the Salida circus to come to the Mercy Housing property called Holly Park we didn't know what to expect. They simply over delivered on their performance. The children and their families loved the entire show. It was interactive, entertaining, and non stop fun, fun, fun. The up close and personal touch I enjoyed most. We also had community police officers participated as well and said that this was the best event that they attended at our property by far!
Salida Circus has performed several times in conjunction with City of Salida events and they are always very reliable, professional and highly entertaining. I would recommend them for a variety of events!

Salida Circus founder Jennifer Dempsey got her start in circus training at 8 years old at Oak View Elementary School under the direction of Jim Moyer, former president of Circus Fans of America. She established Salida Circus in 2007 and has been on the road ever since! Salida Circus can perform indoors or out, small spaces or large. We can perform on stage or on the ground. We also have our own portable 21 foot tall trapeze rig!
