Overview
We pride ourselves on having an up-beat energy, and can adapt to just about any musical setting. Whether we're playing originals at a festival or covers at a corporate event, the audience's experience is our top priority and we can cover everything from Top 40 tunes to the classics. The band has a variety of forms it can take based on your budget - we can bring a backing band, play as an acoustic trio, duo or Sam can perform solo.

AMAZING! We booked the Sam Gyllenhaal band for a Grand Opening event and they were incredible! They were the perfect addition to our event, tons of great feedback from our event attendees. We will definitely be booking them again in the future!

The guys were extremely polite, arrived on time, and played music for most all ages to enjoy. The venue was small with a group of about 30-35 attendees. The cost was reasonable, and others wanted to hire them for the same evening. Thank you SGB.

This band was so much fun! We wanted Americana style music and we gave direction of Tyler Childers and Chris Stapleton which they played and they also played Jason Isbell, The Band and even Sublime which was a pleasant surprise. They were a hit for young and old. They definitely got people on the dance floor with a perfect mix of fast and slow songs.

The Sam Gyllenhaal Band was amazing!!! I reserved them for my 40th birthday small group event. Sam, Alex, and Alaina were friendly, professional, and engaging. They are very talented and have a great dynamic together. I highly recommend SGB for any event where you want quality live music and a great time!!!

This was our first annual Summer Picnic for our little gated community of Christmas Lake Village. I discussed we had ages 0-90 that would attend the event and needed to be sure the music would entertain everyone. They did just that! Let me also say, this was an outdoor event (over 90 degrees) and they just kept the music flowing. I can only hope they are available for my next event!

Sam Gyllenhaal Band is AMAZING!!! They harmonize beautifully. I love everything about their music. I was impressed not only by the harmonizing, but also by their ability to engage the audience. We are a small artisans & farmers market that could only provide a 10x10 tent and grass for the stage, yet this band behaved as if they were onstage at a bigger venue. I highly recommend them!

Sam Gyllenhaal played for our huge Strawberry Festival in Owensboro, KY. His style was the perfect mix of upbeat and fan favorites. Really fun to listen to while browsing at the event. Sam was alwo extremely communicative during the planning process. We already want him to come back next year.

What to Expect
From the event planner's point of view, you're going to get a group of people, whether it's full band, duo, or trio, that is respectful and easy to work with. We're professionals and great communicators. An audience can expect to see a band that sounds great and is having a ton of fun. We can bring a lot of energy to the stage, but also know when it's better to embrace a more laid-back vibe when the gig calls for it. We just want to provide everyone with a positive experience and make some good music.

The Sam Gyllenhaal Band has found the sweet spot. That place where rich three-part harmony and thoughtful, catchy songs come together. Whether it's playing original songs at a festival, covers at a corporate event, or anything in between, the band makes the audience's experience their top priority. When it comes to cover songs, they love to blend the tried and true songs everybody loves with modern originality that only three top-notch singer/songwriters could pull off.
Joined by frequent co-writer Alaina Stacey and long-time friend and bandmate Alex Schreiner on harmony vocals, the Sam Gyllenhaal band officially came together in 2017. Their Pop, Rock, and Americana influences inspire their songs' cascading melodies, driving grooves and vivid lyrics. The band likes to sing about life and love in motion - sometimes soaring, sometimes stumbling, but always moving forward.
Additional Booking Notes
We are very flexible when it comes to technical requirements. Being an act that can be full-band or completely stripped down, we have a lot of equipment wiggle room. We have a PA system that can provide good sound for a backyard or coffee-house-sized room. We have a lot of tech-savvy in the more do-it-yourself situations.

Influences & Inspiration
We have a wide range of influences. We grew up on classic rock and are heavily influenced by the Beatles, Eagles, the Band, and Motown. We're huge fans of John Mayer, Ben Rector, and Amos Lee, along with some modern country acts like Little Big Town and Chris Stapleton.
Setup Requirements
We can do it all - from just our voices and an acoustic guitar, to a full-band, stage setup. We have the capability to bring our own PA system if necessary.
