Need a classy duo for your event, restaurant, or house party? Sam & Ivy have just the thing for you. We can play cocktail hours and ceremonies, be the backdrop or be the main event - we take requests, can adjust to what ever vibe and can even offer insight to other services you may need!

Sam & Ivy - the duo that met in Norway, have been performing together for the past year, playing everywhere from Boston and Nashville, to cruise ships in the Caribbean. The two come from a similar background musically. Both attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music where they were inspired to create their own life journeys with music and love at the center. Not knowing each other at their times at Berklee, they found that their similar backgrounds helped each other mesh on another level while their different experiences in the industry also fueled a new musical energy. Ivy comes from a dueling pianos background where she has been performing on cruise ships and piano bars for the past five years, while Sam comes from a jazz background - performing on stages such as Dizzy’s Club, Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club, and Wally’s Jazz Cafe. Ivy and Sam look to bring the audience a new and exciting experience, performing originals and covers - songs that express their journey together.

We can either play with or without vocals:

Many clients wish us to only be the background. We can fit those clients' needs by keeping things strictly instrumental (jazz, acoustic pop, etc.). However, don't be hasty on adding vocals! We can also keep those in volume if background is what you're looking for.

A lot of clients wish us to be completely heard as well! We can keep that upbeat house party going by raising our volume, while keeping the quality of musicianship just as amazing. This is where most clients will want vocals added.
