Sam was available for a recent funeral and arrived early enough to review the selected songs for the service with the musician and the soloist. Sam was able to accompany the musician with a distinct sound and add a layer of context to each gospel song that would not have been added without his presence. All of this was done with a musician and a soloist that he was playing with for the first time. Truly a gifted and talented musician. I am still getting calls about his solo during one of the songs. Sam's best characteristic is being an easy musician to work with. Thanks for the assistance, and I look forward to working with him again.

thank you Helen! I loved playing for you and your guests!
From the first communication, to our discussions on choosing songs, all the way until our wedding, Sam was so easy to work with; professional and absolutely amazing.
You will not regret hiring Sam for your event— he sounded so incredible and really made our cocktail hour at our wedding so special! So many of our guests complemented his talent and performance. It truly was everything we were hoping for! We recommended Sam to all of our friends and family for their special events (we live in CT and he traveled up on a ferry to our venue!). If you’re reading this review and contemplating spending the money, it is 100% worth every penny.

Sam arrived early and was already playing when my guest arrived at my daughters christening. All throughout the party he played a variety of 60s 70s 80s till today. His equipment was state of the art and the sound of his instruments was crisp and on beat. I defiantly recommend sam as a performer. We will defiantly be using him again.

Influences & Inspiration
i grew up on popular rock music of the 70s but as i matured my interests leaned more towards jazz and R&B. I still love playing rock from elvis, beatles and onward as well as sappy ballads and grooving funk tunes!
