Sami Cone prefers a cordless over-the-ear mic (similar to a countryman) or a lavalier wireless mic. Sami is very animated on stage and likes to have her hands free. If those are not available, a good quality, cordless handheld mic will work.

The host will cover all costs associated with the site and furnish appropriate sound system (preferably a lapel microphone or headset), appropriate stage and lighting, podium and stool. (see attached rider)
The taping of Ms. Cone’s message is prohibited without written consent prior to the event.
The host will use Sami Cone’s logo/headshot and website address in all advertising materials for this event.
The host will incur all cost of producing & distributing all marketing materials and any other advertising.

Normal arrangements for hosting Sami Cone include hotel accommodations, honorarium, meals, and round trip airfare for two from Nashville. All travel arrangements should be made with Lauren, Sami’s manager. Please plan on paying the cost of coach round trip airfare from Nashville International Airport (BNA) to your destination, unless otherwise specified.

Out of area expenses will apply for speaker and one assistant
Due to safety issues, it is necessary that Ms. Cone and her companion be booked in an inside corridor hotel. Sami should be booked in a non-smoking hotel room near the venue. Because of safety concerns, we request a hotel room that is NOT on the ground floor and must have interior room entrances. (Hilton or Marriott quality or better is an example of the type of hotel best equipped to meet safety and logistical needs.)
Expense reimbursement will apply to mileage, lodging (one double room for one night) and meals (lunch), and any other normal transportation expense to and from the event.
Expense report will be presented for payment at the conclusion of the event.
