Sammie James excels in LGBT spaces, corporate and college shows, and in clean comedy shows. but she can work in any environment. Some times she talks about the awkward experiences of her tall disabled queer and trans life but she is just as comfortable just talking about animals, food, dating apps, and how all bodies are just weird. She is comfortable with crowd work and improv and will work to make your event a pleasant, unique and Hilarious experience.

Sammie James is a comedian, story teller, writer, and voice actor from New Jersey; where she hosts and produces the monthly shows “We Are Trans” and “Polymorph Comedy”. She has also recently begun a series of comedy animal lectures called “scratch that”. Sammie has provided voices to several fiction podcasts, including Stand By For Places and has performed comedy all over the US; including past appearances at Broadway Comedy Club, Flappers Comedy Club, Cinder Block Comedy Festival, Charm City Comedy Festival, Plano Comedy Festival, Queen City Comedy Festival, and Bechdal Test Fest. Sammie James is soon to be your favorite disabled, nerdy, butch trans woman in comedy.
