Live action silent film specialist Sammy Tramp brings Charlie Chaplin and all his trampy antics to life to stir up your party or event.
Sammy Tramp is a full time variety performer, silent film enthusiast, and trained actor who has specialized in the re-creation of silent film style performances and Chaplin impersonation for over a decade. Sammy is hired regularly for 1920's, Great Gatsby, and Hollywood themed events.

Sammy is there to brighten up the party, ready to interact with guests and make them feel comfortable at events and gatherings by relaxing the mood with comedic antics and silliness.
Sammy Tramp is a full time multi faceted entertainer who has traveled the world doing her unique brand of stage performance. Working at a variety of different events, supper clubs, cabarets, theaters, circus shows, music festivals, to children's events. She is a graduate of Columbia College's Theater Program and a founding member of Silent Theatre Company, a company dedicated solely to live action silent film productions, physical theater storytelling, and slapstick comedy and clowning. She created the wildly popular Beggar's Carnivale in St. Louis, a live band vaudevillian slapstick circus show that ran to sold out crowds monthly for 4 years. In 2013 one of her short silent films won first prize at the Pordone Silent Film Festival in Italy. In 2017 she joined the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and the New Orleans Symphony to perform in a special artist series focusing on the History of Vaudeville. She’s taught this specific brand of physical acting from here to New Zealand and has recently began traveling to special events to do Silent Film talks.
