I am a veteran standup comedian & actor with many roles & credits in Film & Television. I've spent 30 years performing in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, & throughout the US & Canada. I owned and operated Sandy Hackett's Comedy Club in Laughlin, NV for 10 years. I have performed thousands of shows for audiences across the U.S in Performing Arts Centers, Casinos, Colleges, Our Military, Private Parties & Corporate Events for some of America's Biggest Companies, I can write special material for your event to personalize it for your audience or function. I spent 10 years touring with my father Buddy Hackett.
Sandy Hackett and Lisa Dawn Miller brought a touch of glamour and entertainment to the Antique Automobile Club of America's 2024 Western Divisional Tour, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended our "Riviera Nights Gala Finale" on September 28th. Dressed elegantly, they seamlessly integrated into our gathering of car club members and guests who had come from all corners of the United States to share four days of motoring, sight-seeing, activities, events, and delicious meals.
Sandy and Lisa took the stage on the final night of our event, and they did not disappoint. Sandy Hackett's performance was not only engaging but also had the entire audience in fits of laughter. He masterfully connected with the crowd, creating an unforgettable and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Lisa Dawn Miller, with her extraordinary voice and interactive entertainment added a fun twist to the evening. Her show brought a unique blend of fun and engagement, leaving all in attendance delighted and thoroughly pleased.
Sandy Hackett and Lisa Dawn Miller proved to be a perfect choice for our "Riviera Nights Gala Finale," and we wholeheartedly recommend both performers to anyone seeking exceptional entertainment. Their presence added a touch of magic to our event, making it a memorable and remarkable experience for all. Thank you for making it so easy to access such quality entertainment.
My friends and I really enjoyed your performance. When you brought one of our residents up to the stage and had her participate in your act, it made our evening unforgettable. It is obvious that you get as much enjoyment entertaining audiences as much as we benefit.

In my career, I've been blessed to wear many hats. When I come to work for you, your company, your event or a private party I am funny and all about you and what you need. I am easy to work with. My agenda is always what is best for the client. Can I host your event? Absolutely! Can I write special material? Absolutely! Am I on time? No, I'm always early. Whatever you need, the answer is YES! I've only been doing this for 40 years now. I have literally done well over 10,000 shows, probably closer to 20, 000. Somewhere along the way, I stopped counting. I've performed at every casino in Las Vegas and most of them in Atlantic City. I've done comedy clubs, nightclubs, Performing Arts Centers, Cruise Ships, TV, Film, Cable, I've done private events and worked for and with America's biggest corporations. I've worked amphitheaters and even a race track. I've performed in Temples and Churches and I've entertained our troops at home and abroad.
So when this says what should you expect? Expect a veteran performer that's seen and done it all and that cares about you and what you need.
Expect the Best!
Sandy Hackett is the son of a world-renowned legendary comedian, Buddy Hackett, was inspired at a young age to enter his father's world of comedy. Buddy was a powerful teacher and role model for Hackett. He taught by example, always reading & studying diligently, always re-examining his techniques, and ever the comic-genius guru to comedians old and young alike including his son.
Hackett soon learned what many already knew, an evening with Buddy Hackett was an evening of comedy & entertainment at its best. The senior Hackett passed away June 30, 2003. This was the foundation from which Hackett began his development, growth, and versatility as a comedian, writer, producer, director, actor, performer, & entertainer.
At age eleven, Hackett accompanied his father for a scheduled appearance on the "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In." It was there that he caught the eye of the show's producers and made his first professional television debut. That's how it started.
Hackett was the Director of Entertainment at University of Nevada Las Vegas for his final three semesters before he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration. Degree in hand, Hackett couldn't deny his innate love for the stage and was motivated to pursue opportunities in that direction, which ultimately resulted in his producing and hosting "The Sahara Showcase of Talent" on Monday nights at The Sahara Hotel & Casino's Casbar Theater.
After a successful four-year run, and some acclaim for his subtle, Carsonesque hosting style, the show was renamed "Sandy Hackett's Talent Showcase" and ran for another decade, entertaining packed audiences. Due to its popularity, Hackett hosted and produced the show not only at the Sahara in Las Vegas but the Sahara Reno and Sahara Tahoe, and then the old Mint and Dunes Hotel & Casinos, where he introduced over ten thousand acts, including many first -time appearances on a Las Vegas stage by such entertainment phenoms as Andrew "Dice" Clay, Howie Mandel, Gary Muledeer, The Unknown Comic, Tony D'Andrea, Kenny Kerr, George Wallace, and many others. Sandy Hackett's Talent Showcase came to an end when they blew up the hotel he was working at while he was on stage to make way for what would become the new Las Vegas.
For the next 40 years, he led his people through the desert in search of the Promised Land, stopping at Comedy Clubs throughout the land to learn his craft and entertain the masses. His father came to see him one night and asked him to come and share the stage with him. It was a dream come true for the younger Hackett. He accepted and traveled and learned from the master for the next 10 years as road manager, stage manager, navigator, opening act and best friend.
In 1990, Hackett opened Sandy Hackett's Comedy Club in Laughlin, NV. His success there lasted throughout the 90's. His networking and organizational skills eventually opened up many show business ventures, and Hackett became an accomplished agent, manager, event planner, and buyer of talent when he became the Entertainment Director for Sun City Summerlin, booking talent for an incredible 500+ shows in two years at the intimate 320-seat Starbright Theater.
When HBO announced it was going to do a movie about the legendary Rat Pack, longtime family friend and Rat Pack member Joey Bishop, called Hackett and told him that he would be perfect to play him for the project. Although the part eventually went to someone else, the idea of playing Bishop, a man Hackett grew up with and admired, struck a chord with him. Hackett decided to pen his own show recreating Bishop and his famous buddies ....and so, "Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show" & Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Christmas were born...and so was the baby Moses...but that's another story, for another time.
Hackett also created and stars in "My Buddy" a father-son feel-good production about his relationship and time spent on the road with his father comedian Buddy Hackett.
Hackett’s role as writer, director, and star of "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Shows - which he produces with his partner and wife, producer/singer Lisa Dawn Miller Hackett, has led to his most current success. Together, they have two beautiful children, Oliver (18 years old), a singer/actor, headed to Tisch school of drama at NYU, who has already shared the stage with Stevie Wonder and 12-year-old daughter, Ashleigh, a young actress/singer/comedian who has already shared the stage with her mother & father.
All I need is an audience. It helps to have stage, lights, sound, a microphone.
But I've worked in less than optimal conditions and if it's a small party and you don't have the tech stuff I will just talk loud. Whatever it is, I'll make it work.

My father was comedian Buddy Hackett. He was the best of his generation and starred in every medium. He was also my teacher. I learned from The Best. He told me "Do Something You Love and You Will Never Work a Day in Your Life." I toured with him for a decade. I got to meet and hang out with all the greats George Burns, Jack Benny, Milton Berle, Red Buttons, Johnathan Winters, Jackie Gleason, Lucille Ball, Shecky Greene, Pete Barbutti, Jackie Gayle, Don Rickles, Bob Newhart, Dan Rowan & Dick Martin, Johnny Carson, Danny Thomas, Joey Bishop, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Jan Murray, Sid Ceasar, Red Foxx, George Carlin, & Steve Rossi. I think you get the point. I got to learn from the best!
