Sandy Herrault, Violinist

Sandy performed as a solo violinist for our wedding in Asheville last month, and it was as beautiful as we expected. She performed pre-ceremony music, as well as the ceremony music, and it was a perfect complement to the events of the day. She received so many compliments from our guests for her performances! During the planning process, she facetimed us a couple times to perform us music and provide us with a one-on-one consultation to make sure we had our dream music selection. We would recommend Sandy for any wedding event you may have!

We recently enjoyed Sandy's considerable talent during a holiday dinner for our Board of Directors. She was prompt, professional and the music was delightful. She played beyond the agreed time, even asking for requests and satisfying every one. Her musicality and presence created the perfect, classy environment for an enjoyable business dinner and I highly recommend her for any event.

Sandy did an awesome job at our daughter's wedding. She was so pleasant and easy to work with. She arrived early to practice with our son who played keyboard with her on some of the songs. So many compliments on the beautiful prelude and the bridal processional song! I would highly recommend her for any event and especially weddings!! Thank you Sandy!!

Sandy did us an excellent job. We had an outdoor garden party with approx. 60 guest. Sandy set up and played for three hours. Everyone raved about what a great job she was doing and wanted to know how we found her and some asked for her business card. Near the end of the evening a group pulled up chairs in front of Sandy just to enjoy her beautiful music. Sandy was a major contributor to the success of a truly wonderful evening. We had not used or even heard of Sandy before locating her through an internet search. Not only is she a wonderful violinist, she is a nice person. I believe if you are reading this review to determine if you want to use her, you will not go wrong by selecting her. If we ever have a need for a violinist again, we'll call Sandy!!!

Sandy was wonderful, her music was beautiful and at just the right volume for a small event. She was punctual, friendly and talented. She helped make it an elegant event!

Sandy was so nice to work with! I found her on here and after listening to some of her youtube videos, inquired to hire immediately for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! She started playing as guests arrived and I could hear her from the room I was getting ready in while I did a first look with my Dad so that was a perfect bonus! She flawlessly played A Thousand Years while I walked down the aisle and continued to play into cocktail hour. I received numerous compliments from guests (especially on her Game of Thrones rendition!) and wish we could have had her with us all weekend! She set up a skype call for us to meet after we booked her and by the end of the call we had heard samples of several songs and picked all of our ceremony music! Sandy played for my daughter's wedding. She was very professional and responded to every email we sent within a hour. The music was exactly what we wanted. Sandy brought an amp with her so everyone was able to hear her beautiful playing in the outdoor setting She did an amazing job. I could have listened for hours. Sandy and I contacted each other first through Gig Salad e-mail and then by phone. Sandy was courteous and gave the bride and me clearly-understood information with details of the music that she could provide for our wedding. She was prompt for our initial meeting and the wedding event and sent the music list, contract, and other instructions via e-mail attachments well enough in advance of the event. She indicates that she practices regularly in preparation for the event and that is evident in the violin music presentation at our event. The music was beautiful and she played well with the pianist accompaniment, as well as solo.

Sandy has played at our gallery on three separate occasions. Each time has been outstanding, truly making the event extra special.

Sandy recently played at our wedding ceremony at St. Mary's Chapel. She chose the appropriate variety of music to play for 30 minutes prior. She played 2 different songs one for the bridal party and one for my procession of which one was a special request that she had to learn. She played it beautifully. We3 loved her music and were very pleased. I highly recommend Sandy!

Sandy performed at the re dedication ceremony for the restored Daughters of the American Revolution - Memorial Fountain in downtown Concord. The event was governed by DAR protocol, recognizing an historical event in our nation's liberation. Sandy selected much of the music. Her selections and talent put the event over the top in beauty and meaning.

We found Sandy Herrault through Craigslist and, after a long email discussion, my fiancé and I decided to book her solo for our wedding ceremony and reception. Immediately after negotiating a deal she met with us via Skype and helped us pick out wonderful songs for our wedding. We were very impressed with how many songs she knows and how well she played them. We found her very helpful with planning our wedding as she answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. Sandy is great at improvising while playing and provides smooth transitions between songs which really helped pull our ceremony together. She went above and beyond our expectations. From nearly every guest, we heard compliments about the atmosphere provided by Sandy and about how talented she is. Money well spent!!

I booked Sandy (with a small band of her talented friends to accompany her!) to play fireside at our Celtic Fire Festival this October. Sandy was friendly, accommodating, and went out of her way to make our party special. She is an amazing talent and her Celtic fiddle is top notch!
