The Library has hosted a "Story Time with Santa" for the past few years and we always ask for Santa Greg! He is the "real deal." He is always ready and willing to participate in our songs and fingerplays. He reads his book about choosing reindeer to pull his sleigh and adds little tidbits that personalizes it even more! Even our adult staff like to come see him! His kindness and gentleness with the children makes him so approachable even for the timid and unsure. He is also a great communicator. We hope to see him again next year!

We are a public library that hosts a special Santa Story Time each December, and Santa Greg is our first choice to be part of this popular event. This year we had to go virtual and Santa Greg was right with us as usual! He sang with us, did the movements to the songs and fingerplays including American Sign Language and spoke personally to the classes watching us via Zoom. This was a Facebook Live event. He even stayed and we filmed a short personal message from him to one of our regular volunteers who LOVES Santa. The volunteer is unable to come in because of the virus. He is a great communicator too. We will continue to invite Santa Greg back every year!!!

Santa Greg arrived early for set up and actively participated in our interactive Story Time at the library. This is his 4th year with us and we are already looking forward to year 5! Greg knows how to interact with the very youngest (babies!) and older children such as the 1st-3rd graders from a local private school who came for a special visit with Santa. He brings props such as sleigh bells, sings, does well with the large group as well as with individuals. He is the best!

Santa Greg was absolutely amazing at my daycare event. He was so kind and gentle to the all the children and provided me with the opportunity to give beautiful images! He also offered to stay after the shoot and visit the all the classrooms. I have found my beautiful and kind Santa in the Orlando area and will be using him for future projects!

Santa Greg did our entire routine for Story Time. He came in early enough to practice with Courtney, our Story Time person. He read a great story. He sang, talked and Ho Ho Ho'd. He was very patient with the little ones and even had a friend who tried to help the criers. Very personable, very patient, very authentic.

Santa Greg showed up early, brought a very cool Santa chair, and was dressed perfectly. Santa Greg even read books and sang Christmas songs with all the children. I would recommend Santa Greg to anyone looking for a real authentic and professional Santa.

This is the second year I have booked Santa Greg. He was wonderful the first year and just as great the second! I have a preschool and to see the younger kids not as afraid as I have seen in the past was the greatest! He is very good with children and acknowledges each and every one. They ask a lot of questions, and he had just the answer to satisfy them. The most precious was to see him interacting on the floor with the infants. They especially loved him. I would recommend Santa Greg for any and all Christmas functions!

As for the tiny tykes, I do have my share of crying babies & toddlers. But, most often, if one is patient, the crying subsides & curiosity kicks in. Then the fun begins! Ho, ho, ho!
We have had Santa Greg be part of our Christmas with Santa Story Time for the second year in a row and love him! He is very professional and was so willing to jump in and do the songs and motions with us and the children as well as read a book. He truly took time with each child and family. We had at least two children who were always afraid of Santa who sat on his lap and were happy! The families were thrilled! He is very dependable and communicates well.

Thank you Melissa. I think it helps the kids, and grownups alike, to be familiar with a story time routine. Santa's addition does not disrupt what is familiar to them. I also find that when little ones have the time to observe older brothers, sisters, and other children interact with Santa, their anxiety level of this stranger in their midst subsides. Santa Greg did a PHENOMENAL job at our client appreciation Christmas party! Him and his lovely wife arrived early, posed for pictures, sang Christmas carols and read a story to the children. We have had other Santa's in the past for events. The Santa's which we have had do their entrance and go right to the chair to have kids sit on their lap. This has been fine and the kids and parents have been pleased. Santa Greg on the other hand took it to a new level. He had preplanned interactive games and songs with the kids. He still allowed each kid to share with him what they want for Christmas of course. I highly recommend Santa Greg.

Sometimes event organizers ask me to simply mix and mingle with guests. More typically, I arrive at a home or event venue with genuine sleigh bells jingling, a jolly "ho, ho, ho," and a sack slung over my back! Gifts may be strategically placed in advance for my retrieval, or I can pass out gifts from under the tree. In group settings, I eagerly greet one and all. I begin to circulate and speak to each person - little ones and oldsters first, of course. I offer each a candy cane. We sing familiar Christmas carols, some of which are interactive. We play a simple game or two. I tell silly jokes and ask funny riddles. The children gather around and I read a story - "The Night Before Christmas" or other story from my collection. We make time for photos. Finally, if it is wished, I will hand out gifts, with your help with names. (I'm old, you know... I have trouble remembering so many folks, the world round.) As I depart, I merrily wish one and all a "Very Merry Christmas!"
I have happily appeared as Santa Greg since 2009, first in the Rochester, NY area, and now in sunny Central Florida. I have enjoyed bringing a touch of the North Pole, Christmas Spirit, and holiday celebration to family homes, Sunday brunches with Santa, office holiday celebrations, apartment complex parties, volunteer recognition with not-for-profit groups, and small business marketing events. More recently, Mrs Claus has delegated many of her North Pole activities, and enjoys joining me at events! Photo shoots with professional photographers have also been a joy to take part in. I delight in bringing smiles to the faces of folks who live at health care facilities. It's been great fun, too, reading to rapt little ones during public library story hours. Do you have pets? Prior to appearing as Santa, in a former adult life, I was a teacher and a rehabilitation counselor, working with special needs children as well as adults. On a more informal basis, I've known the joy of teaching woodworking to girls and boys between ages 6 and 14.
Further, I have enjoyed teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School settings.
