The most widely recognized Santa in America, International Santa Claus Hall of Fame member Cliff Snider is a professional Santa with a extensive wardrobe of custom-designed costumes. He is a graduate of three different Santa schools and is a model for over seventy paintings of Santa Claus. He annually works with six professional photographers for client's Christmas cards and has been featured in national television, and local and national magazines. Over 500 products bearing his image are licensed internationally to various manufacturers. With over 55 years of experience and naturally bearded all year long, Santa Cliff can meet all of your holiday needs.
We've used him the last 2 years and he never disappoints. Kids and parents love him. I won't use another Santa for our Christmas party.
Response from High Point Santa Claus:
Oh Wow! Thank you so much for that great review Ms. Bost! I sincerely appreciate it and I will look forward to our visit next year. Blessings, Santa Cliff Snider
Santa Cliff has been coming to our annual community Christmas celebration for over three years. He is absolutely amazing with the kids and adults alike! Very courteous and prompt. The kids are just mesmerized by him! If you need Santa for your event, then Santa Cliff is the one to get!
After last Christmas waiting in line at the mall for over two hours for a rushed visit and cheesy photo of Santa with a terrified grandchild I knew there had to be a better way.
We had a gathering in our barn and invited children of friends and family. Not only was Santa Cliff the best looking Santa ever, he had such a calm demeanor with the little ones and took the time to tell personal Santa stories. One child who was at the age to question Santas existence asked how we got the real Santa to come to our barn.
We took over a hundred photos and not only did the children look relaxed and happy but Santa Cliff looked like a calendar Santa model in all of them. Every detail from his beard to his suit and even his drivers license to operate a sleigh were pure perfection.
I urge anyone considering hiring Santa Cliff to visit his website and read his credentials and check out his photos. Santa Cliff created memories to last a lifetime. He is truly the benchmark for all other Santas.
Response from High Point Santa Claus:
As Santa, I like to follow the saying of "Go where you are celebrated, and not where you are tolerated." This family celebrated having Santa at their home and the setting was more than wonderful. Even though it was pouring down rain outside, the feeling of warmth and love and family inside their barn was heart warming. I can truly say I had a great time and I am so appreciative of families that celebrate "Christ"mas like the Weavils do.
Thank you so much for having me and I hope you have a New Year filled with happiness and joy.
Blessings,
Santa Cliff Snider
Santa Cliff was so awesome! He really makes you believe in Santa Claus!
Santa did a great job with our house party. He knew how to read kids-- he engaged the ones who wanted to talk a lot, and he was patient and gentle with the shyer kids. He was also good with dogs.
Santa Claus has been coming to 3 of our centers for 3 years. The children and families love him. He is very authentic and wonderful with the children. He helps the photographer capture memorable pictures that the families will treasure for a life time. We love him and hope to have him back in our center in December.
To my respected friend Santa Cliff,
I am writing this to you for a reason. I would like to say thank you.
When you began working with me at Kissing Tree Studio I am sure you had no idea of the artistic journey that would ensue. Yes, I am a photographer, however I am an artist first. This has meant my expectations of you as a Santa were not going to be simple and sometime certainly not easy. I have asked much of you as my artwork unfolded and evolved. You have not only followed my creativity (which lives within my mind ) but you have also taken the time to try to understand the art that has burst from within me. There have been sooo many details and demands that I have asked of you of these creative years. You worked very hard, thought deeply and have given your me such consistent professionalism. This has not gone unnoticed nor have I taken your efforts for granted. I think the end artwork speaks volumes as to how hard you have worked and how much you bring to each and every session. From one artist to another, I must tell you, it is not easy to follow or even understand another artists thoughts or dreams. You have been such a key figure and person in unlocking much of my work.
The other side of my thoughts are more personal. Your kindness and willingness to "communicate" with both children and parents alike is unmatched. You are forever tactful and gentle when sharing the real meaning of Christmas with everyone you meet. You call your mission your Santa Ministry and I have seen this first hand. You are loved by so many and you have earned this love and trust. The amount of love you share with people on a daily basis is not only a joy to witness but and honor to experience. I have learned a great deal from you over these years. Your friendship has meant so much to me.
So in summary, not only do I feel I have the great honor to work with a true craftsman of the Santa profession, I also am humbled to weekly be in the presence of a truly great man and person. Thank you for all the joy you bring to my art, countless children and this world Santa Cliff! Your love and purity of spirit has such a ripple effect. You will continue to positively impact many more lives in the future. I know He admires who you have become...from my heart Cliff...thank you!
Your friend and fellow artist,

At our annual company Christmas Party we have Santa Claus come and give out stockings full of toys and candy. This year we hired Cliff Snider(Santa Claus) and he did a great job!!! The kids loved him!! He looks some much like the real Santa! It was such a great time for the kids and the parents to watch their kids with Santa. We just want to thank him for coming and will definitely have Santa Claus come again!!
Santa Cliff was the best! He was great with the children and they loved him! Prompt, courteous, and very accomodating of our schedule on short notice! Couldn't ask for a better Santa! You won't go wrong with Santa Cliff!
I have worked with Santa Cliff and seen the results. As a photographer, you could not ask for more. He has the look like no other! As for his way with children, I can not say enough great things. Santa Cliff IS the real Santa with all of Santa's special touches. Sleigh bells, magic pocket watch...you never know what he will pull out next.
I produce a TV series on Fox8 WGHP-TV. Over the years we've done several stories either featuring or about Cliff. His life story is one of the most compelling ones you'll ever hear. He was destined to be "Santa." For many years he's spent his Christmas Eve mornings volunteering to take calls live from kids on our TV show. He has spread much joy in his lifetime.
Santa Claus is a popular figure in High Point, NC. Our Santa is out and about during the Christmas season and brings joy to all he meets. Of course, children sit on his lap and tell their secret wish for Christmas morning, but he is popular with all age groups and it is heartwarming to see him interact with any age group, young and old. Santa has visited with the Rotary Club's children Christmas party and has been the most antipated entry in our Holiday Parade for years. Our Santa is Cliff Snider and High Point loves him and his devotion to the Christmas season. I would highly recommend him to any group.
We have had a Santa Open House in our home about 10 times over the last 20 years. Friends tell us it is a great way to begin their Christmas Holidays. Of course, what makes it is the opportunity to visit and have their picture taken with Santa!
We adore Santa Cliff. He is the one and only Santa for our daughter, as well as the many children that attend our annual Christmas party. Santa comes in with bells on, literally, as if he stepped out of a a story book. His wardrobe is phenomenal, no matter which of his many suits you request. He is eager to interact with children of all ages, always with a jolly smile and a welcoming lap. He delights everyone that attends, from children to seniors. Santa Cliff proves that the magic of Christmas lives only in your heart, and you're never too old to believe.
I have known and worked with this Santa Claus since 2002. I am an artist and he has helped me get my artwork into print as well as been an excellent model for my Christmas paintings and for several other artists. I have helped him with his booth at 3-4 Christmas gift shows for the last five years, some of which he was also the official Santa. The entire time I have known and been around him he has not done one thing that would bring any form of discredit to himself, anyone associated with him or a child's view of Santa. I have met with him all throughout a given year to discuss business and even at meals out he is always Santa Claus; encouraging and uplifting children, telling them to be sure and mind their parents and reminding them that he loves them. This Santa underpromises and way over delivers. You will not be disappointed.
I can't say enough GREAT things about him. We've used him for 3 years now for Photos with Santa. Easy to work with, always professional, Kids LOVE him, Parents LOVE him. Everyone says....WOW....he is soooo good with the kids and he's is the REAL SANTA.
As an artist, it has been my privilege for the past few years to portray Cliff Snider, as Santa, on canvas. I am still struck by the fact that he literally embodies the 'spirit' of Christmas which makes his portrayal of this beloved character completely believable. He is also the personification of every wonderful description of Santa Claus you have ever heard, and yes, his eyes really do twinkle! There is no monetary value that can be placed on the joy he brings to any event fortunate enough to have him. He brings with him something which cannot be taught or learned. It is the unique gift of himself, and as for me... I believe HE REALLY IS SANTA CLAUS!
I was beyond amazed at Santa Cliff!! He was absolutely the most amazing Santa i have ever seen! i own a small cupcake shop and i had him come right before Christmas to visit with the customers coming in and WOW! He was amazing! the kids were just speechless and bright-eyed with excitement, and i even found myself feeling giddy with excitement as i watched him interact with the children! i can't WAIT to see him again next year!!
The Downtown Waynesville Association has worked with Santa Cliff for several years. He is beautiful inside and out. His costumes are exquisite, from the tip of his hat to his long elegant cloak. His smile, his attitude and kind voice are especially comforting to children of all ages. Santa Cliff is very passionate about his role. He is dependable also. Give him a call.

For seven years I was the signature Santa for Christmas Castle in Jamestown, North Carolina, and have appeared in numerous Christmas parades in my area. I have taught at various national Santa Claus conventions and have studied at the Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School in Midland, Michigan, and the Internatonal School of Santa Claus where I earned a BSC and MSC and DSC degree. (Batchelor of Santa Claus and Master of Santa Claus and Doctor of Santaclausoligy.)
I have been featured on "The 700 Club" as "The Praying Santa," on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association website, in "Our State-Down Home in North Carolina" magazine, and my story "The Good Book Santa" appeared in "Guideposts" magazine in 2008;
I am a contributing author to "Christmas Memories of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus" and have written my own autobiography titled, "Santa's Journey-Sharing Christmas Year Round."
My image as Santa Claus has been painted by several artists in over 75 different limited-edition prints and new paintings are creatd each year. I also work with professional photographers from my area. Since 1998 my image as Santa Claus appeared on over 250 internationally licensed products.
In 2013 I was inducted into the International Santa Claus Hall of Fame, and am one of only eighteen living members. My mantel for this induction is "Keeping Christ in Christmas." It is my desire to represent Jesus Christ, "The Real Meaning of Christmas" in all of my appearances.
I have been portraying Santa Claus since 1962. I became a naturally-bearded Santa Claus in 1995 after attending the Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School in Midland, Michigan. Since that time I have attended two other Santa Claus schools, receiving a Bachelor of Santa Claus, Advanced Master of Santa Claus and Doctor of Santaclausoligy degrees from the International University of Santa Claus. I have been a workshop leader at four different Santa Claus conventions, and received the first "Keeping Christ in Christmas" award from the Jim Yellig Santa Claus Workshop in 2012. In August of 2012 I received "The Order of the Long Leaf Pine" award (the highest award given to a citizen of North Carolina) from the governor recognizing fifty years of service as Santa Claus to the children of my home state. On December 21, 2012 I was inducted into the International Santa Claus Hall of Fame in Santa Claus, Indiana.
I work with professional artists each year in producing limited-edition prints of paintings of Santa Claus. I also work with professional photographers in their studios producing portraits and Christmas cards for their clients. My work as Santa with all of these talented artists has placed my image into the homes of more people than any other Santa, earning me the distinction of being "the most recognized Santa Claus in America."
I custom design all of my costumes which are then hand made by my own seamstress. These costumes provide any Santa Claus look a client is looking for from the "Coca-Cola Santa" look, to Victorian, workshop, Civil War and Woodland look. I have my own sleigh that can be rented to complete the realistic visit with Santa. Each year I create new accessories to make my appearance as Santa different from any other.
In 2008 I published my own autobiography titled "Santa's Journey-Sharing Christmas Year Round." This book tells through short stories my life as Santa Claus through the experiences I have had with children, young and old. I am experienced as a story-teller, sharing the stories that I have written. I have also contributed to three other books about Santa Claus.
My professional background is in graphic arts and fine-art publishing. I am a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and am now retired so I can pursue my passion of providing the most realistic Santa Claus experience you can find.
I have a complete wardrobe of costumes of my own design, created by my personal seamstress. This wardrobe is complemented with authentic accessories that can provide any look a client desires. I have a portable sound system that can project my voice to an audience of up to 200 people. I can add storytelling or motivational speaking to my performance and have spoken to church groups, civic clubs and special interest groups. I have my own sleigh that can be rented to use as a photo prop for special appearances.
In the fall of 2014 or early 2015 I will be featured in documentary short film about how I became Santa Claus. This film will be featured in short-film festivals around the country.
