Santa Aaron was a wonderful addition to our "Brunch with Santa" at Lake Forest Country Club. Not only was he so wonderful with the children, he was also wonderful to work with. Our membership raved about how he was their favorite Santa of the season! Santa Aaron took the time to talk with and listen to each and every Childs Christmas wishes, as well as show some Christmas magic tricks! He truly made it a day to remember, and we look forward to having him with us again in 2023!
The event went very well. Santa showed up on time and did a great job with the kids!
In a bleak year, our Zoom with Santa Aaron will always be a bright spot. Our kids were enthralled and it was wonderful to see the joy Santa can bring, even through a computer screen. Even in non-pandemic years, we may make this a family tradition. Highly recommend.
Our family reunion was themed Christmas in October 2018. Santa Aaron was gentle, tender, and soft spoken. Santa and his helper "Zippy" had my husband telling complete strangers that we had the "real" Santa. All the children responded to his gentle manner and lots of photographic memories were made that day. Santa Aaron handed out Halloween candy, and performed magic tricks to the amazement of everyone there. The best day ever.
A visit from Santa Aaron is an annual tradition for our family. Our twin girls think of Santa as a family friend and part of our family (actually we all do)! Santa Aaron brings the magic of Christmas to life with his warm, loving and jolly presence. What can we say, but we love you Santa Aaron and thank you for creating beautiful Christmas memories for our family!
My grand daughter loves Santa Aaron. "Hes the REAL Santa"! He has a twinkle kn his eye and brings the magic of Christmas with each visit. We have had both Santa virtual and home visits and will again be hiring him for a home visit this year!

HERE ARE SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND FOR YOUR SANTA VISIT:
PLANNING - We will work together to plan exactly how you would like your event to go. I am well practiced at entertaining a crowd so no worries there, however if you have special things that you would like done (handing out gifts that you provide, someone whom you want to receive special attention, etc) we will make those plans ahead of time, and follow up the day before or day of the event to make sure everything is ready to go. I will bring plenty of candy canes to pass out - coloring books and crayons are also a great idea. I carry a small sack and these type items fit in the bag well.
PARKING - Make sure that Santa has parking available that is close to where your event is. We can discuss the arrangements during the planning period.
DESIGNATE SOMEONE - Designating one adult to greet me outside or at the door is very helpful. This is also a great time to go over last second details., fill my sack with gifts that you provide, etc.
STURDY CHAIR - A good sturdy chair is important if Santa will be sitting down for photos. Please make sure the chair is of a size to accommodate myself and any children and / or adults that want to sit with Santa for photos.
LIGHTING - One of the most popular features of my visit is the reading of "The Night Before Christmas". If this will be a part of your event please make sure the area is well lit. Santa doesn't see well in poor lighting so this is very important.
PHOTOS / CAMERAS - Please make sure your digital cameras are charged and ready to go. Some moments are "once in a lifetime" and you want to be sure to capture those. Good lighting is also important when it comes to photos. Also, feel free to help Santa out. If my belt buckle is a bit crooked or my hat isn't perfect please designate someone to help with those adjustments. I don't mind this at all.
FANS - If Santa will be sitting for a long period of time taking photos a fan is very helpful. The suit is very heavy and gets very hot. While this is not required it helps to keep sweat from forming on my face so photos are perfect.
PAYMENT - If Santa will be receiving compensation for his visit it should be sealed in an envelope and given to me at the end of the visit. A good idea is to present it as a Christmas Card addressed to Santa.
Thank you for taking time to view my profile. I consider it an honor and a privilege to perform the role of Santa Claus. My name is Aaron Bandy and I began "Clausing" (as the trade is known) when I was 18 years old and have done it every year since, making this my 27th year.
It all started when Santa came to my house on Christmas Eve 1981. I was 8 years old when my Uncle Hubert dressed up and made an appearance to deliver my toys. I will never forget that moment. I had woke up (be assured that he made enough noise to make sure I woke up!) and "caught" Santa in my house. I will never forget the excitement that I felt - my heart was pounding as I watched him lay out each toy carefully under our tree. He never spoke to me - just a simple wave once his work was complete. He then walked over to the plate of cookies we left out, took one, winked at me, turned around, and walked out with a mighty HO! HO! HO! Two words come to mind when I think back about that visit - Absolute Magic.
It wasn't until well into my teenage years that I learned it was my uncle. He came to a family party dressed in his suit. I had no idea he was coming - I was as busy as every other teenager and barely got to the event on time. Before I could be told here comes Santa bounding into the house for all the kids (of course this time I recognized him right away!) - this time I got to watch the magic unfold from the outside looking in. He was simply amazing as Santa. These events along with my love of children are how my Santa adventures began.
I will turn 48 years old on December 3rd. I am married to my beautiful wife Amanda (who will also make appearances with me from time to time) and we have three wonderful children - Craig (20), James (Jimmie Wayne) (16), and our beautiful little girl Mattie (10). All of our children know that I perform as Santa, although Mattie knows that I am merely one of his many helpers. Jimmie has performed as an elf for several years now and the children absolutely adore him on our in-home visits. I must say that he has worked very hard to learn his role, and I couldn’t be more proud.
To all those that I have had the privilege of serving during the past 29 years - thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can only hope that I have been as much of a blessing to you as you have been to me. By God's grace I look forward to doing this for another 100 years or so. Thank you for taking time to let me introduce myself and may you have a Blessed Merry Christmas and a Happy And Prosperous New Year.
Additional Notes: Sometimes children will ask me to do things that are impossible such as bring back parents and grandparents that have passed away. I handle these situations by explaining them from a Christian perspective. I will also use these opportunities to talk to children about God's love, and how Jesus came so that grandma, grandpa, etc. can live in heaven until the day comes that we will see them again. If you have any further questions about these type situations please feel free to ask - also, if you know ahead of time that I may be asked difficult questions please share this with me. The children mean so much to me and I take the responsibility of helping them through difficult situations very seriously. Thank you.
