At a height of 4.4, Santa Lee is a truly one of a kind Santa Claus, unlike any you’ll ever meet! Though while his height is more that of an elf, his love and devotion to being Santa is as big as a giant! Being just in his early twenties, he lives and breathes Christmas all through the year and is a 2022 and 2023 graduate of the C.W.H. Santa Claus school. Santa Lee was invited the first time to the Lohman, MO. Community Center by the Lion’s Club for the community Christmas event of 2021. The event is scheduled the second week each year and is open to everyone in the surrounding communities. In 2021 Covid-19 was beginning to wind down but people were wary. Santa Lee showed up and made everyone comfortable, and the children loved him. He answered their questions, read them stories, and took their Christmas wishes with him back to the North Pole.
The Lions Club voted unanimously to schedule Santa Lee again the following year and he did not disappoint. There were many more children in December of 2022 and again Santa was a big hit with the children, parents, grandparents, and everyone else who showed up.

How do I get around the whole world in just one night? How do reindeer fly? What are elf houses like? I can answer these questions and countless more! I’m a Santa who likes just about any sort of challenge. Sometimes the biggest things come in the smallest packages! As Santa Claus, I consider myself to be jolly and energetic, good with both children and adults, and well educated on many Christmas facts and classic songs.
Once upon a time, because of my short height, I tried out my hand at being an elf, but it never felt like my true calling. Instead, I wanted to be Santa Claus. I wanted to be the Jolly Old Elf himself instead of one of his assistants, so, deciding to follow my heart, I hung up my pointy ears for good and pulled on the famous red coat. Instantly, I knew I had made the right choice. In my opinion, and in no disprect to any of the countless other wonderful Kris Kringles that are of average height, being a little Santa has one special advantage: You don't come off as so intimidating to the younger children you meet. Being able to match their height means you're not towering over them, therefore they don't feel as nervous. When I'm Santa Claus, I can do so much more than back when I was an elf. I take pride in my work, and my only goal is to spread joy and happiness and share in the true meaning of the season!
Saint Nicholas of Myra, Washington Irving, Clement Moore, Thomas Nast, and Haddon Sundblom, all five historical men who I express my deepest thanks to for having made possible the image and story of Santa Claus that has inspired me to want to be him. I am also influenced further by my many wonderful "Santa Mentors", such as Tom Valent and his wife Holly, Kenny Hyddock, Barry Cummings, Cortney Lofton, David Howell, John McDaniel, Michael Howe, Ben Belhorn, Emmett Thomason, Matthew DeMoss, Doug Billings, Jerry Owens, Dan Short, Doug Eberhart, Steve Gillham, Timothy Connaghan, Cliff Snider, Sal Lizard, and others I've yet to meet but hope to one day. They are all real "Father Christmas-Figures" to me, and meeting them and hearing their stories have further convinced myself that I've made the right choice in becoming Santa Claus.
