I am a kind, experienced Santa, with a real beard. I will attend your event and interact with children and adults. I love to read stories, pose for photos, distribute gifts, and of course, eat cookies (cookies are NOT required).
Born on December 26th in real life, I come from a background in high tech and am a stage actor with roles in over 50 local shows. I was recruited to the role of my life five years ago when I was asked to put on the suit on short notice so children at a Ft. Worth hospital would not be disappointed.
The next year, I saw thousands of families as Santa on the MetroPCS tour and on a $2.5 million DreamWorks set.

We loved Santa Mike once he arrived to the event as great with kids taken his time to speak to them and was great taking family pictures. The only reason I’m giving him 4 stars is because he was 30 min late missing some of our kids that could not wait for him any longer
He arrived an hour late to the venue. Will never hire him again.
And he scared the kids by asking them to keep feeding him cookies. They were scared of him.

Dear Grace.
It was difficult finding the event while navigating in very heavy traffic (I30 was stopped fr 45 minutes) because you had not put the street address or the name of the venue in your initial booking and so they were not in my calendar or navigation
The contact number in the booking rang to a dance studio voicemail, and my calls and messages were not returned. I do now see added notes that weren't part of the initial booking that would have helped me in navigating if they had made it to the calendar..
I did figure out where it might be by entering the street name, and calling businesses along it.
I then called the front desk several times en route and asked that they update whoever was in charge of Santa's visit.
I would like to thank you for inviting me to the nursing home, because I asked the staff if was anyone who could not make it down to the party area, and they took me up to the 3rd floor memory care unit and the rehab unit, and I spend another hour or more visiting those residents, then ended up down in the lobby singing songs with the pianist for the residents.
It really put me into the Christmas Spirit the be able to interact with the retired people, the memory care unit, and those in rehab who were working hard to be able to go home
I'm a little confused about what children you said I frightened, since the average age of resident there was probably well over 90. Children can be frightened of Santa, particularly those in the range of 18 months to 24 months, but it is less common as the age past 2. I don't recall any very young children at the event.
There were two girls, about 8 years old who were in elf costumes who brought me a single cookie. They posed on each side of me and were very sweet, but came up to me with it on a plate smiling and posed on either side of me. They were definitely not afraid of Santa. Were they your helpers?

Arrived late but did a good job interacting with the kids. Would suggest reading a shorter story to children ages 3 and 4 to keep their attention span. Santa Mike was professional and kind.

We had Santa Don in place of Santa Mike because of Covid exposure, but the communication concerning the substitution was excellent. Santa Don was excellent with my three little grandchildren, taking time to read a book, asking them what they wanted for Christmas and answering questions that only an inquisitive child would ask. When leaving, he even took time to acknowledge the neighborhood kids that had congregated when they saw him arrive and did a photo with them. He was fantastic and if you’re ever in the need for a Santa visit, don’t hesitate to request Santa Don!
I will be using him next year. He was great with the kids! Thank you for joining us. We got great pictures!!!!!
Santa Mike went above and beyond! Our kiddos absolutely loved him! He read a book, and truly was the BEST Santa we could have ever asked for! His Ho Ho Ho was definitely on point!

We booked our event several months in advance, and although communication was completely lost for several weeks, we finally got in touch again and the event was a success. Santa Mike was patient and funny and the kiddos loved him. He took his time with everyone (even stayed a little late to accommodate all of the families), really got into character and had all the right answers for the children's curious questions. All of our photos turned out great!

Santa mike was amazing! He looks and sounds just like Santa. The kids loved him! He read a book in a very animated, Santa way, talked with, and took a pic with each child and let them pick out a candy cane, and told fun jokes. I had magical confetti and Santa made it such a fun experience for the kids. He even took some fun silly pics with the adults. Highly recommend him!

Not only did he pass out gifts and read from a script that I had prepared, SantaMike also recorded greetings from Santa for our children. Santa Mike was very sweet and spent time walking around our shopping fair meeting all the vendors. I was happy for his flexibility with a scheduling glitch within the site. The only recommendations I would make is a new fluffier/whiter hat and Santa sleigh bells. It seems the hat/suit he wore had been very well loved. A brighter white would make for much better photos. Seems trivial but in the pics you can see what I mean. Otherwise, it was a nice experience and a nice guy.

Sant Mike has added an upgraded custom suit and hat, in addition to the traditional Sunnywood Supreme suit. He successfully appeared in this suit for filming for a very large national store chain.

It was custom made, is a similar color to my existing suit, has a flat collar and my hat is made of the same fabric and is trimmed with a very white plush "fur".

The hat has definitely been well loved.
I have now received two more which are available for photo-shoots and appearances. That particular hat is nice and full, but I actually needed Mrs. Santa's touch in styling it that morning, as it is a long-fur cap vs. the two additional shorter fur ones I currently have on the sled. I have a new longer-fur one on order as that "outdoor Santa" look goes more with my current Santa suit, which is a classic Sunnywood Supreme "Coca Cola" style suit.
I also do travel with three sets of sleight bells, one of which is on a real draught horse harness. In addition, my velvet bag also has a number of bells. We usually take off the small bells on my suit before visiting very small children, as they tend to want to pull them off and put them in their mouths.
Thank you for asking us to your vendor day. I loved their selection of gifts, and would be happy to feature them on my website, as many people have trouble deciding what to give, and they had many unique gifts for both children and adults.

Santa Mike was our entertainment for our Christmas party. He was a hit, his improvision had everyone laughing. I wish he could come every week.

Thank you for your kind review, Jennifer. The "Christmas Story" theme of your TGI Fridays corporate party was very fun and creative. Judging the costume contest was a real challenge, with so much originality exhibited in the costumes, especially the "Leg Lamp"
The "Ugly Sweater" competition also was tough to judge, due to some really kitchy (and probably itchy) seaters.
The reading of the Naughty and Nice list seemed to have the guests squirming in their chairs I believe that many of the guests were worried what Santa's elves might haver reported.
All in all, a magical Christmas event. I am happy you chose me to be part of the festivities, and Master of Ceremonies.

We really enjoyed having Santa Mike visit our Christmas brunch this past weekend! He did a great job engaging our preschoolers! Only reason we gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because he was a little later than our set time, but he did call me to let me know and it actually worked out ok.

2nd year now we've had Mike come out for Christmas Eve to surprise our kids. He makes the evening absolutely magical. He remembered the books we read last year, and read to the kids with much character and enthusiasm. He answered questions about Santa and the North Pole convincingly, and discussed cultural roots of some of Santa's traditions. We love having Santa Mike as part of our festivities.

We found when setting routes prior to the day of your event keeping arrival time would be difficult due to your distance from our previous appointment.
Since cancellation might leave you without a Santa since it was December, we notified you as soon as we saw the problem, and offered to re-schedule or to stay late.
You replied that Santa could just make a grand entrance, which was refreshing.
I would like to offer you a sincere apology and a refund.

Santa Mike was really great to work with. He was open to whatever suggestions I had and even offered some of his own. We had a large family Halloween/Christmas party and Mike was totally game to do something different. He memorized our kid's names and what the "story" was for our party. (We were going to be out of town at Xmas, so Santa wanted to surprise my kids and their cousins early, since he won't be able to come at his normal party time!)

We booked Santa Mike for our 5-year old little girl's birthday party in May. He was absolutely the hit of the party! The children were awe-struck when they saw Santa Claus show up with his Santa sack full of toys! Each child sat on his lap and opened their presents while he asked them questions to engage them in conversation. He was so patient and kind. He then read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to a delighted group of children. My little girl got to sit on his lap and turn the pages. Adorable! It was an experience we will never forget. Santa Mike was very happy to be able to attend Victoria's fifth birthday, and to get to meet her friends and family. It may have been Victoria's birthday, but it was Christmas in May for Santa Mike!
Hiring Santa Mike was the best thing we did all Christmas, and I don't think we could ever have another without him. He came over after the kids were in bed, we snuck him into the living room where he began to place presents under the tree. We woke the kids up to "catch" Santa and IT WAS AWESOME!!! My girls loved it! He was so gracious about all their questions and stalled long enough to wait for my nephew to arrive (who was running a bit behind). My nephew is very shy and can be sensitive, but Santa Mike handled him very well. He read them stories and talked to them about the North Pole. He was funny and welcoming. The grownups had a wonderful time, too! It felt so magical! Thank you for helping us have the best Christmas I can remember. The other kids didn't believe our girls caught him, but we have photographic proof!

During the off-season, Mike is an experienced engineer and entrepreneur. In addition he has performed over 50 roles as an actor in Dallas area theaters. He went to Texas Tech and then SMU and has a master's degree in engineering. He is a founding partner in a company that provides on-line marketing.
Mike was initially recruited to perform as Santa Claus because he looks like Santa and has a deep voice and contagious laugh. His experiences have only increased his enthusiasm.
