Santa Ray has been seeing kids of all ages since 2007 and is a real beard and real belly Santa. He also has a Mrs Claus that can come along at no extra charge.
Santa sings a song, can read a story (upon request if time is available), time for photos and answer questions from children.
They are available for home visits, business appearances, photo shoots, school events & parties, parades, senior events, festivals, private & corporate parties, special events, weddings, & more. We travel within the Springfield, IL and surrounding areas. Contact us for distances over 30 miles from Auburn, IL. Santa Ray is a member of International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas and is fully insured.
We were all very impressed with Santa, great with the kids and we had a fantastic time!
We were VERY pleased with Santa Ray and Mrs Claus! They brought such joy to our grandchildren and we adults enjoyed it just as much! Fun,fun, fun!
Santa Ray was wonderful as always. Prompt, courteous, and even went the extra step to FaceTime with one of our Employees daughters who was unable to attend do to her ongoing cancer treatments. A real gem.
Response from Santa Ray:
Thank you so much for having us. We love making children feel special.
Perfect Santa and Mrs. Claus
They were such a delight, and added such a special touch for the kids. Very timely, patient, and such great sports. Most definitely will use in the future!
I reached out to Santa last minute in August to help us pull off a big surprise. We lived in California and found out we were being relocated to the Midwest which would put us a couple hours from my in laws. It was my father in laws bday so we hired santa to show up and in Santa’s hand was us FaceTiming so we could share the news. It was a big birthday/early Christmas miracle. It was random but we wanted it to be that way. Santa and Mrs claus totally pulled it off perfectly and it’s a memory all of us will always have. I’m a photographer and I’m already thinking of all the ways I can utilize Santa’s services next season once I’m settled in my new surroundings.
Thank you again!
Overall ok - I think he had trouble hearing her - but the disappointment was when he forgot to tell her there was a gift on the porch for her.
Response from Santa Ray:
I am so sorry he forgot the gift. That was my fault (Mrs Claus). I forgot to add that to Santa's list. Glad you were overall okay with it.
The Santa visit went amazing, my kids were so beyond excited and Santa and Mrs. Claus were amazing. Super friendly, took time to get to know the kids and really made it a fantastic experience. We will definitely be doing it again!
Kids loved Santa and he kept them engaged. Will recommend to others.
Response from Santa Ray:
Thank you for the review. Santa had a great time with the family

If there are gifts to present - Santa and Mrs Claus will gather the gifts (in a location that cannot be seen by children) and place them in Santa's bag.
Santa will enter the room with a "Ho, Ho, Ho" and waving to everyone. It depends on what is needed at the event, but Santa will either go to the chair provided or walk around and say a quick hello to children as he proceeds to his chair. He will then ask the children to gather in front of him and he will talk to them a bit. He would then sing a song or two and then it would be time for the gifts. Each package should have a name on it. Mrs Claus would pull it out of the bag and give to Santa. He would read the name and have the child come on his lap or stand beside him (whichever way the child is more comfortable). Pictures are taken and then he would ask the child what they would like for Christmas. He continues this until all children have a gift. Then they would all open their gift together at one time. After this he would invite families to get pictures of all their children, group photos or family photos.
If there are no gifts it is basically the same except for handing out gifts. Santa would sing a few songs and talk to the children. Then each child could get a picture with Santa.
Santa does whatever is needed during his time frame, but the most important thing is children getting pictures and visiting with Santa
I started being a Santa in 2007 while working on the Santa Set with my wife at the mall, when she needed a fill-in Santa. I love being Santa so I did some research, joined a Santa network and also attended some trainings for Santa. I started doing home visits and from there have also done business parties, corporate events, parades, festivals, schools and daycares. I have worked with Bass Pro Shops in the past. My season starts around November but I am a real bearded Santa all year long.
I travel in the Springfield, IL area but will go longer distances if my schedule allows it.
I work 120+ events a season.
Mrs Claus comes along with me if she is available and there is no extra charge for her appearances. She does not usually do the photo studios with me unless requested. She helps with children who are afraid of Santa, visits with the children while they are waiting in a line (if she is not needed for photos), and helps me get the gifts out of the bag. She can make appearances on her own if requested.
I am available for "Santa Gets Caught" visits. These entail late night (10 pm - 12 am) visits where you wake the children up to catch Santa putting gifts under the tree. Santa talks with the children and then tells them they need to get to bed so he can finish his route.
In 2020 we started virtual visits. This will give others an opportunity to join in the conversation wherever they may live. We love having ZOOM Meetings or Google Meets. We have continued the virtual visits but these are on a limited basis.
Any other questions just ask.
If this is a large venue Santa would need a microphone to address the audience.
The only thing that Santa usually asks for is a nice chair without arms. Remember that he is a "big guy".
If crafts or food are involved please see that the child is clean and that "wet" crafts do not come in contact with their suits.
