For over forty years, Mike Ihrig has portrayed the legend of Santa Claus. Thru the COVID epidemic he visited an average of 300 homes a year on the ZOOM platform ((phone number hidden)2). But now he is out visiting his friends and families.

So many happy parents commented how great of a job Mr. Claus was doing at our event. He was chatty and friendly with the children and did an amazing job talking and singing with them. He went above and beyond.

Santa was the best! He arrived early for a store event, we didn't have customers at the time so he went outside and waved to people passing by- which drafted customers in. Santa was pleasant with all the kids and animals that were brought to see him. Added bonus he came with his own goody bags for the kids to choose from, we will be having him back next year!

Hi Betsy, Thanks for the great review! When I first checked out your little shop and parked in an unofficial zone, I could see all of the hard work going into the project. Of course I had to sample the merchandise, so I bought some and even more on performance night and then came back after as well! (My wife told me we were low on coffee, I but had the maple stashed in the basement.) We will be back together again, too. I can see that this venture is a great community gathering spot and got to meet so many of your loyal customers and even feed the dog next door vanilla ice cream! The procession of emergency vehicles was a sight to behold as well. And I thought maybe I would get picked up when I thumbed for a ride before it started! We couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate Christmas Eve than to have Santa stop by to see the grandchildren before he started his journey. He was patient, understanding, and answered every question the kids had And he included the kids with his magic.

Great experience. We had a large group. There were about 16 kids between the ages of 2 and 10. He kept them engaged and entertained throughout. The event had a little bit of everything, sing-alongs, magic, a read-aloud, prizes/gifts for the kids as well as your traditional photo ops. Everyone had a great time and we already plan to book Santa again next year. Thanks!
Magical Santa was wonderful for my nieces birthday celebration. Arrived on time and kept the children entertained for the full hour. He brought gifts for the children, performed magic tricks, answered some tough, " Are you the real Santa" questions. Each child was able to get a picture with Santa as well. He took time with the children, was patient, humorous, kind and just an overall delight. Thank you Magical Santa! Hope you had a very Merry Christmas!!

Santa arrived right on time and was so great with our little ones, ages 3 and 2. His jokes even entertained us adults. Beautiful costume and real beard, we’d definitely hire him again!

Hi Pat, Thanks for the kind words. Making children and their families happy is the most important part of why I became the representation of a legend. I try and give people a "time out" from reality. My favorite moment was when I gave a coloring book to one of the boys and asked if he liked "Iron Man". He said, "Yes, but my Dad likes him more." I reached into my pocket and tossed his Dad an Iron Man flashlight. Who could ask for a better ending! Wishing you and yours the best this coming new year! Magically, Santa

Santa came to my daughter's 1st birthday party a few days before Christmas, and he was wonderful. His outfit was great quality and even his coat looked straight from the North Pole. The older kids were happy to see Santa and were delighted with the little toys and gifts he gave out. I was expecting my daughter to cry when she sat with Santa for a picture, but he was so warm and friendly, she went right to him and sat with him happily. I would absolutely recommend!
We had a fantastic time with Santa. Everyone at the party enjoyed it and he truly made the party a magical and memorable night. I hope to book again next year.

When I come to your home or business, I bring the love of one of the most famous characters in the world. I tell jokes, sing songs, talk Santa history (I am 471 years old, don't you know) and carry many surprises depending on the type and size of my audience, all of which is included in my fee. In the past I have given out stickers, tattoos, Santa money, naughty or nice coins or cards, official elf certificates, bubbles, quiz sheets and much more!

…the legend of Santa Claus.
Mike Ihrig, magical entertainer, continues on this path as one of the most dedicated Santas in the world.
It is not about the beard.
It is not about the suit.
It is about the heart of the person inside of the suit.
For over thirty-five years, Mike has been portraying the legend.
From his humble beginnings in 1971 wearing a suit made for him by his wife of less than one month, to his custom suit in 1986 by Elizabeth Babcock of the Santa Claus Suit Manufacturing Company, to his Coca-Cola suit and now to his traditional Olde World suit, Mike portrays the correct image for your event.
Mike's second love is magic. Mike started performing in 1979 in the entertainment capital of Miami, Florida. Having received a magic set for Christmas from Mrs. Claus, he embarked on a journey performing magic from table side in restaurants, on stage at hotels and country clubs to in a living room or back yard for a child's birthday party. Mike is an Order of Merlin Shield in the International Brotherhood of Magicians and past President of Rochester NY's Assembly 47 of the Society of American Magicians. Mike has over thirty five years of continuous service in both of these organizations. Mike was the Territorial Vice President of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, covering six magic club "Rings" throughout the state of New York.
Mike has owned two magic shops (Mike's Magic & Merriment - Rochester, NY and The Magic Island - Fairport, NY) and invents and manufactures magic and has had a line of Christmas magic for use with both Santas and magicians.
