I'm a sound engineer in the Asheville area who can also provide some DJ / MC services if needed. I can provide speakers, microphones, power supplies (for events needing small amounts of power). Not only have I run sound at events like weddings, corporate events, but I have also mixed for some well known bands: Red Clay Strays, Nikki Lane, The Dip, Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown to name a few.
Sapsucker Sounds is my go-to for all things audio! Stuart is not only a total pro but also brings a sense of fun and ease to every project.
I've collaborated with him on a variety of events—indoor, outdoor, with a wide-range of audience sizes. Stuart has extensive experience with a variety of systems and venues, and always delivers the highest quality sound no matter the setting.
Beyond his technical skills, Stuart makes the entire process enjoyable. He keeps the project fun while maintaining a high level of professionalism. He approaches each project with enthusiasm and creativity, making it a pleasure to work together.
I can't recommend Sapsucker Sounds enough for your next event or project!
Price Range: $250 and up
As someone who knows a lot of sound engineers, reliability and good communication are not the top words I use to describe them. But I am here to tell you I am a reliable sound engineer and will provide you with timely communication and expectations.
I am able to provide a good setup for most small to medium size venues, if you have an event with over 1,000 people, my setup probably won't be sufficient for what you need. I have however used my system in several large fields with over 500 people.
I've been running audio for over 14 years now, I started tinkering with audio back when I was in late high school when I turned my bedroom into a studio. Fast forward over a decade and I have mixed for some semi big acts and helped as a stage hand for some even bigger acts. I started mixing professionally after college, where I majored in music performance. I truly believe my music background equipped me to be a good sound engineer, I try and create a tasteful sound environment for all types of events. I love how sound works and I'm constantly looking into new equipment to improve my setup and abilities. I have worked in professional music venues, run sound at churches, wedding venues and more.
Here is what I can provide for you event!

-2 x 12 inch powered speakers for monitors or auxiliary speakers
