1: Riders/Stage Plots: It is Client’s responsibility to notify Contractor of any contract equipment rider(s) and/or technical rider(s)/stage plot(s) that any artist(s)/band(s)/manager(s)/promoter(s) may require prior to Contract acceptance, as these riders will affect Contract price. Rider(s)/stage plot(s) must be submitted to Contractor in advance and in writing prior to Contract acceptance. Client agrees that Contractor will not be liable for any rider(s)/stage plot(s) that Client fails to submit to Contractor in advance. Failure to do so shall not affect obligation to compensate Contractor for any additional cost(s) to meet any equipment rider(s)/technical rider(s)/stage plot(s) and will obviate Contractor’s obligation to have equipment/production ready for start time(s)/stage(s)/venue(s) as specified herein. Once lighting has been placed (whether flown or ground stacked) any changes by Client will be billed at the rate of $150.00 per hour (one hour minimum).
2: Personnel: Contractor will provide qualified personnel to operate/set up/manage all equipment provided for in this Contract. No other person(s) shall operate/set up/manage the Contractor's equipment without the express written consent of Contractor.
3: Security: Client and/or venue shall provide adequate/qualified security to protect the Contractor's equipment/personnel during the term of this Contract. This includes after hours nonproduction security for the term of the Contract.
4: Access/Parking/Parking Permits: Client/venue(s) shall obtain and issue all-access permits/parking permits to all designated personnel/vehicle(s)/truck(s)/trailer(s) of the Contractor in advance of Contractor's arrival at the venue. Contractor is not responsible for delays related to access/load in/out issues. Contractor’s personnel/vehicle(s)/truck(s)/trailer(s) list designate for such access will be advanced to Client no later than one month before event. Client shall be notified in advance of Contractor's arrival at the venue (load in) and if there are any changes in the list of Contractor’s personnel/vehicle(s)/truck(s)/trailer(s) required to complete the terms of this Contract. It is Client’s/venue(s) responsibility to retain access to and from the stage(s)/venue(s) and to secure Contractor's parking needs during the entire term of this Contract
5. Electrical Power: Client/venue shall provide the electrical power and/or circuit’s necessary for Contractor to perform his/her duties hereunder. The Contractor's electrical requirements are listed in Exhibit "C" attached hereto. Client/venue shall only use licensed and bonded electrician(s) in preparing the Contractor’s electrical requirements and requirements must meet NEC/USITT/ANSI code(s)/specifications. Portable power (generators) MUST have power conditioning and an earth ground. Power must be in place and meet specifications in Exhibit "C" one hour before the load in time specified. Failure to have electrical power installed and ready for use as of such time shall obviate Contractor's obligation to have equipment/production ready for the show start time(s) as specified herein, but shall not affect Client’s obligation to compensate Contractor for any overtime and/or additional costs to have electrical requirements/specifications meet. Power circuits for Contractor must be dedicated for Contractor only.
6: Stage(s)/Venue(s) Set Up: Client shall have the stage(s)/venue(s), setup, completed and available for Contractor's use no less than one hour before the load in time specified herein, be free from event staff and/or the public during load-in/load-out. Stage(s)/venue(s) must also be clear of any sound gear/equipment and/or any musical gear/equipment as to allow Contractor to safely load in/out. Failure to have the stage(s)/venue(s) ready, set up, completed and available as of such time shall obviate Contractor's obligation to have equipment/production ready for the show start time(s) specified herein, but shall not affect Client’s obligation to compensate Contractor for any overtime and/or additional costs. Contractor’s personnel are not expected to participate in the construction/deconstruction/set up of stage(s) and/or venue(s). Client also agrees to make stage(s) weatherproof to protect Contractor’s equipment, where Contractor’s equipment will/may be exposed to rain and/or undesirable weather conditions. Contractor has the right to interrupt performance/production/show due to weather conditions and interruption, etc., of services does not affect Contract price
