Kevin did a great job playing saxophone during our daughter’s wedding for the cocktail hour. I highly recommend using him. He’s very easy to work with, friendly and professional. Our guests commented on how much they liked him.
Kevin was an absolute 10!! He adapted to the party vibes and made the party so fun. His energy is contagious. He even brought props to make it feel like we were on the streets of New Orleans. He was courteous and a real pleasure to work with. It can’t be easy mixing into a party with such ease and enthusiasm. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. I hope everyone gets the pleasure of working with him.
Kevin was wonderful! We hired him to play for our wedding reception and the feedback we received from our guests were lovely. Communication from start to finish with Kevin was great! Highly recommend booking Kevin to play for your special day.

You can’t go wrong with Kevin. Great communicator & response time, willing to accommodate special request, sensitive to mood of the event, engaging and…oh - great musician!! Thanks Gig Salad for offering the best!
Kevin was outstanding, he went above and beyond for our summer soirée party! He was so easy to communicate with and delivered exactly to what we asked him to do. He’s professional and all of our guests are still raving about him. I’ll be booking Kevin for all of my next party needs where I’m looking to elevate with a memorable music experience :) thanks again!
Response from Saxophone Music San Diego:
It was a pleasure meeting you and providing music at your summer soirée. Thanks for the review.
Kevin rocks! He had everyone dancing as he played with EDM music, right on the dance floor with guests. His versatility was impressive: he played beautiful romantic music during the ceremony, including the wedding march, Canon by Pachelbel, and The Moment by Kenny G, and then smooth jazz and pop hits during the cocktail hour. He even changed outfits, from a classy tux during the ceremony and hour, to a fun but still upscale outfit for the dance segment. He even had a leopard print hat that he busted out and guests were having fun with it, too. He can do it all! He’s talented, personable, interactive, and oh so memorable. Someone requested Jubel by Klingande, an EDM favorite, and he nailed it. Everyone was raving that he made the wedding.
Response from Saxophone Music San Diego:
Thanks for the kind words. That wedding was a blast! Glad it was so well received.

Hiring a live musician is so much more than music. With my wireless mic, I can dance as I play and even bring the show right to the audience! I love to interact with everyone, ham it up, roam the space, giving guests a unique experience as I perform their favorite songs.
The sax is quite versatile, like the human voice. I can play your music style and vibe, whether it’s romantic, Top 40 hits, dance, jazz, oldies, 70s, 80s, Latin, classic rock. My most popular music is my fresh takes on hit songs, by Adele, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Maroon 5, and others. I play the vocal line on my horn (a “saxstrumental” LOL) and jazz it up with some great embellishments. I think people like hearing music they know and can relate to. I work with clients to understand their ideal songs and performance style to make sure I create a unique, memorable experience. Clients often say I was the highlight of their event!
Live saxophone music livens up any party. It adds a flavor of jazz and excitement. The parties I get hired most for are wedding ceremonies, wedding rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, corporate events, birthday parties, fundraisers, dinner parties, cocktail receptions, and galas. I have also played bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, anniversaries, barbecues, and quinceaneras. I’ve also been asked to emcee; I love public speaking and used to do it professionally, so that’s always fun, too! Lastly, some clients ask if I can DJ some of the party, so it’s easier and cheaper than hiring a DJ. I’ve been able to play my clients’ song requests and playlists through my pro sound system.
Clients call me “a born showman” and “dynamic party starter” but I actually started off shy when I learned sax at age 9. After seeing a B.B. King concert with a killer horn section, I decided to go pro.
Besides playing my saxophone, I interact with the crowd, putting on a visual show. People say I have the ideal sound, look, and personality to be a party starter. I think it’s just because I love people, adding to the fun, and giving folks a unique experience. People always tell me that I helped them make life-long memories.
I used to be a professional dancer so my wireless mic lets me play in different spots, move to the music, and play in the crowd if my clients prefer. Of course I also have other intangibles, like friendliness, communication, flexibility, attentiveness, reliability, thoughtfulness, and professionalism. One client said, “I know musicians are notoriously late.” To that I replied, “I’m no ordinary musician. I’ve never been late.”
I’m proud of my customer satisfaction. Out of 210+ reviews across Yelp, Google, WeddingWire and social media, I’ve gotten a perfect score every time. I pride myself on understanding client needs, expectations, and nuances of each unique event that I’m hired for.
I just need one 3-prong electrical outlet to plug in my sound system.
