Georgianna is a fantastic musician and came over graciously to a house party and played some Christmas carols to keep the guests entertained. Definitely recommend her as she is a great musician and made sure the event went off smoothly.
We hired Georgianna to play some smooth jazz during our cocktail hour. Our venue was a museum so we let her choose where to set up. She spent about 20 minutes warming up and it was great to hear her before the guests started arriving. She’s so good! Everyone loved having live music and it fit very well into our venue setting.
Georgianna is a great saxophone player, she was prompt and on time, professional in her interactions and extremely friendly. Georgianna was a pleasure to work with. Best of all she is a great saxophone player!

In the fabled jazz town of Denton Texas, Georgianna began playing saxophone at age 9 and just kept playing. Influenced by college radio, Gerry Mulligan and a North Texas State University philosophy professor, Georgianna sees a connection between jazz improvisation and drawing but is unlikely to ever bring it up. While studying figurative sculpture, she earned a bachelors degree in Jazz and Commercial music at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Today, Georgianna teaches saxophone, plays with Georgianna Krieger's Ensemble Embrace, Melba's Kitchen and is a professional visual artist.
I can play solo for short gigs but saxophone is best when part of a group. I can put together a group of any size from 2-6 players to suit your event. Bongos and saxophone? Yes! Bass drums and Saxophone? Very cool! Four saxophones? Oh Yeah!
