Whatever the vibe you need, I will take great care of you. Every event is important to me and I love being a part of the event planning process with you! Upon booking we will have quick discussion via phone, text, or email to get all of the details of your party in order. A quick phone conversation with follow up email is my preferred communication thread, but however you are comfortable is fine. I will also reach out the week of the event to confirm the details and/or any changes.

Performance wise I can cover as much or little time as you need. Chill Cocktail hour to high energy on the Dance Floor with the DJ and everything in between and beyond. I can perform stationary or strolling. Formal attire to beachwear, you can count on me to be dressed correctly for the event.

Cocktail Hour, Dinner Parties, and Birthday Parties are among my most requested services.

I can perform with your DJ or recommend DJ's that I have worked with. Please inquire about details of the sax with DJ packages! They are really fun and I would be glad to explain how they work!

For most solo events I arrive 90 minutes early with a compact setup and require only a standard electrical outlet and a small space to perform from.

For larger events, I will be in responsive contact to insure every detail is in order. I am very experienced at these, so you can count on everything to be right!

Matt Corey regularly performs with The Vindy's (Named #1 Band in Cleveland by Scene Magazine) and is a member of Wish You Were Here The Sight and Sound of Pink Floyd. Matt Corey also holds a weekly Wednesday evening cocktail sax residency at Downtown Cleveland's Metropolitan @ The 9. Other residencies include biweekly at Gervasi Vineyards and monthly at Lanning's Restaurant and Jasmine Bistro. Matt has performed at thousands of weddings, birthday parties, corporate functions, beach parties, luncheons, pool parties and events nationwide for such notable clients such as The NFL, The Cleveland Clinic, Land Rover, Howard Hanna Luxury, and The American Heart Association.

Matt Corey holds a degree in music education from Youngstown State University where he studied jazz performance and classical saxophone. Notable performers he has played with include Jonathan Cain of Journey, Rico Torres of Bon Jovi, Billy Beck and Rick Ward of the Ohio Players, George Clinton, Average White Band, The Ohio Players, Phil Woods, Phil Driscoll, Sean Jones, Mike Phillips (Sax player for Stevie Wonder, Prince, and Michael Jackson), and Nikko McBrain of MegaDeath. Matt has performed in various ensembles opening for the likes of Joe Walsh, Common, Lil Wayne, George Benson, Dave Matthews Band, Robert Randolph, Cupid (Cupid Shuffle), B.O.B., Mike Posner, Far East Movement, Yung Joc, Eli Young Band. Matt has also performed on Kid Rock's Chillen' The Most Cruise, The 311 Caribbean Cruise, The Rock Boat, and Rombello Music Festival Cruise. Matt was the featured soloist in Cyberjam a show from the Tony award winning producers of Blast! for 9 month run on London's West End at the Queen's Theatre in the UK. He was also the featured soloist in Blast 2 Shockwave which ran four 4 months at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center before embarking on a 2 year Theatre tour throughout the US.

Matt Corey's solo college tour was featured on hundreds of campuses nationwide and earned him the distinction of "Male Solo Performer of the Year" from the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities five years in row as well as the cover and a feature in Campus Activities Magazine and a featured performance at the Mirage in Las Vegas.
