What’s up! I’m an alto, tenor, and baritone sax player. I play private events where I play sax over backing tracks. I also play in cumbia, salsa, rock, and reggae bands that are always ready to gig. Energy on stage is always a must! Let’s work!

Fili was amazing! He played our first dance and reception dinner and everyone loved him. If you’re looking for someone to bring the energy and sounds of a skilled sax player - do it! His IG doesn’t do him justice 20/10.

Fantastic performer. Did an amazing job for a dinner party at our home. Great set list, highly entertaining. He even has a wireless mic for the saxophone that allows him to play while moving around. Extremely talented performer. Would definitely hire him again! 100 stars!

I hired Fili for an elopement I planned for my client in Sant Ynez Valley. He played saxophone for the processional, a wine ceremony and a first dance! It was SO lovely. He played songs that the couple requested. He was easy to communicate with and on top of our timeline. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of witnessing this amazing saxophonist in person at an outdoor venue. He came in beautifully playing popular songs that the whole crowd knew. His rendition of Sam Smith’s “I’m not the only one” left me speechless. Apparently I wasn’t the only one who thought he was immensely talented as people tipped him left and right! What an experience he provided!

Hiring Fili (aka Saxyfone) was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Everyone was raving about how awesome it was to have a saxophonist play during cocktail hour. It was pretty badass watching Fili moving and grooving throughout the entire venue playing absolute bangers from reggaeton, cumbia, latin pop, to R&B and Hip Hop . He really got the party started during cocktail hour and that was exactly what we were hoping for him to do. His videos on his IG don't do it justice on how great he sounds in person. My wife and I were so happy with his performance. I would highly recommend Saxyfone for any special occasion. He was super kind and easy to work with and he can play it all!

I couldn't say enough positive things if I tried. First off - this guy is just insanely talented, he played alongside our DJ (whom he had NEVER met or spoke to before) and absolutely CRUSHED it. He was the star of the show. Don't even hesitate for a second. I knew within the first 5 minutes that I needed to book him for an additional hour. Our guests couldn't stop talking about him - so fun, so vibey, so cool. Absolutely will hire again for future events.

About
Hi my name is Filiberto Quintero and I have over 20 years of saxophone playing experience. I started in band class and then gradually started playing in rock bands throughout my teens. Now as an adult I play in a variety of bands. I am lucky enough to have been able to travel around different countries like Canada and Mexico with my music. I am happy with where music has taken me so far and I can't wait to see whats's next!
