(This is a MUCH delayed review on my part stemming from the fact that I don't even know how to put into words how grateful I am for Shellie and everything she did for our wedding day).

Shellie is a friend of mine who did day of coordination for my wedding. I'm a control freak, so I did all the planning before hand with lists, layouts, and timelines, but I honestly really wish I had asked Shellie to help me with a lot of it, as she is MUCH better about planning and negotiating all the tiny details than I am.

It's impossible to even put into words how much Shellie did on our wedding day to save our butts. We hired a staff to work our event that was just....awful, and did basically none of what we hired them to do, but Shellie made our event happen anyway. She was everywhere managing everything and did all sorts of things to make up for our terrible staff that we didn't even find out about until later! She stayed behind while we were doing our first look to finish setting up and ensure the vendors were in line, she coordinated the start of the ceremony, helped set up the reception, poured drinks, managed take down and clean up afterward, and even did things totally outside of her job description, like, running down the street to beg a knife off of some restaurant so we could cut our cake? (the staff was supposed to bring the cake slicer. They did not.) She was like a day of coordinating ninja, fixing everything ASAP.
