If you have been one of the millions to see Scott Hansen, you have noticed that he takes the stage with a teddy bear demeanor, which draws the unsuspecting crowd into his whimsical world. The audience knows within an instant that they are not watching television and that this is going to be a one-of-a- kind comedy experience.
With just a little bit of inside information, Scott builds a camaraderie that sets the crowd at ease with a style that seems above
suspicion. Innocent and casual, his repartee is like talking with a neighbor over the (link hidden)ott laughs at his own foibles and lulls you into a false sense of security. Within a few moments, even the most stubborn audience
is a part of Scotts’ show.
The show is a comedic therapy session where the audience laughs at itself. His repartee has provided Scott the knowledge
of Dr. Phil, the curiosity of Sherlock Holmes and the compassion of a polar bear that is stalking a wounded walrus
And the audience always takes the bait. Is it a trick?
No. It’s comedy. Award winning, critically acclaimed, comedy!

Scott has achieved fame and notoriety for his sharp audience interaction and patented “hit and run” style of comedy. His comedic depiction of the "Minnesota situation" provides unique fodder and perspective that has made over a million of his fellow Minnesotans laugh. He has become the voice of local comedy, the conscience of Midwest comedy and an icon that fills clubs and concerts statewide.
Scott is critically acclaimed and has been dubbed the, “King of Twin Cities Comedy” by staff writer Bob Protzman of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Scott Hansen began doing comedy when he was age 5 in First Grade. Unknown to his parents, Scott memorized the “adult” comedy records that were discreetly played at family gatherings. His performance was quoting x-rated,1960’s comedian RustyWarren in Catholic school.
Scott learned how important it was to write his own material. He kept trying.
At the age of 10, Hansen entered a Noxzema national jingle contest by writing about acne. Scott wanted to win a 1918 Stutz Bearcat. He was very happy with his third place prize:a megaphone and congratulatory letter saying that he was “Very funny.”
That was all the encouragement Scott needed.
Since then Scott has performed at clubs from coast to coast and has been in concert with over 100 major stars and entertained at over 500 corporate events. He has per-formed with governors, and presidential candidates. He has made 200 federal judges,
a sixth grade class, 150 bikers and 1000 nurses laugh. He has performed on the altar of a church, in front of 15,000 people at a festival and at a funeral.

I got on stage in Minneapolis just a few weeks before Louie Anderson. He has remained a close friend and professional influence as I write jokes for him ad he writes jokes for me. I have been able to work and write with George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield, Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld Drew Carey and hundreds more comedy stars. I respect all of them and they have learned many elements of my craft from all of them,
