Scott Samuels was simply amazing at our Grand Opening event. Lots of people commented about how skilled he was playing all of his songs from memory. He played at the perfect volume not being too intrusive as many of our VIP’s were networking. After our reception the public enjoyed requesting songs and made a couple of people’s days. Scott is a great performer and we will consider him for another event in the future.

Scott was the highlight of our Valentine Party. Taking requests from the audience made everyone feel as though they were part of his “chorus”. His personality was only outshined by his talent. His musical talent was amazing and appreciated by all in attendance. Looking forward to having him back for another event in the future. We booked Scott for an hour of entertainment following a luncheon. He was easy to work with, great communicator and was early. The residents (55+ community) enjoyed the music and being able to select songs from the repertoire. Scott is a great guitarist and we would work with him again!

It was amazing to have Scott performing live music during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Simply stated, Scott elevated our fall garden party from a nice gathering to a truly memorable event. He played for 4 hours (the last as an add on because we were having so much fun) at a 70th birthday party in our South Philadelphia home. His repertoire is unbelievable, and full of songs you'd never expect to come from a solo guitarist. He took requests all night and added in some gems of his own, and we all sang and danced al night. We'd book him again in a heartbeat.

Scott delivered an incredible performance for my wife’s surprise 40th birthday; he is a talented musician with an extensive memorized song list! With very little downtime, he maintains his energy an enthusiasm. Well organized and responsive in confirming the arrangements in advance, arrived early and was set up and ready to go when guests arrived. Scott was the perfect entertainment for my parents’ 50th wedding celebration! Guests were so impressed with his playlists, making requests and singing along all night long. Scott, played at our end of the year congregational celebration. He is talented and professional and provided great background music for our food truck celebration party. He has a vast catalog of music in his repertoire and played songs that all ages enjoyed. We will have him back again in the future!

Hired Scott to play for my father's 60th birthday with very short notice due to uncertainty around COVID restrictions. Instead of just blindly sending me a quote, Scott took the time to call me and speak to me about his quote and ideas for the event. Scott did an amazing job and was easily the best of all artists GigSalad sent the requests to, hands down! His list of memorized songs is impressive and extensive. I was planning a surprise anniversary meal at a restaurant for my husband and I. I wanted to add romance to it and thought a guitarist would be great. With just three hours notice, Scott showed up and was able to play every song my husband and I requested. His voice is sweet, his guitar skills fabulous and his manner very pleasant and personable. Would definitely call on him again!

We recently had the privilege of having Scott perform at a very small family gathering to celebrate a birthday. Scott is very responsive to messages and very thorough and detail oriented when planning the event. He will answer questions you haven't even thought to ask yet! I had the pleasure of hiring Scott for a small even in my NYC apartment last night. Scott came on time and very well prepared. He was able to adjust his playing to read the crowd, and take requests from his supplied repertoire sheets with many people commented on how voluminous it was!

A storm was raging during his playing, but luckily he was under cover and still able to entertain our guests. Everyone enjoyed his music. Punctual and professional.

Scott played at a rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding on Long Island on 5/31/19. I did not know him previously but was impressed with his resume and reviews of his previous work. We were able to get together on the event and he traveled from Philadelphia to play. Along the process he was always accessible and promptly returned my emails or calls. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed his musicianship and he entertained us all night. It was the perfect touch for the event and I am delighted that we had him play. Scott Samuels played at my husband’s surprise 60th birthday party in Scranton, PA area Dec 2018 for about 60 people. Best decision I made planning the party. He was just as I hoped....great guitar and vocals...all recognizable, easy-going music....all my guests from the kids to the adults, mostly age 30–75, loved the music, which was enjoyable but not overwhelming. Got my husband to sing a few songs, accompanied by Scott. Such a good time. He showed up early, took little, if any breaks, had no problems. His music list is vast, and every piece he played was well-done. I couldn’t have asked anything more. I had reviewed many others’ demos on-line, and I felt his music was just what I wanted. If you like his music on-line, you will like him in person...I would highly recommend him.

Scott performed at our event at a retirement community. The music he played was fantastic. He came with a packet of songs that he had memorized that people could request. He knew so many songs by memory and played them so well. We received many compliments in regards to his entertainment. We would definitely hire him to play at other events!

Scott really is talented, I am so surprised I found him. He could sing so many different songs and it was beautiful. I booked Scott last-minute when the band I was counting on backed out a few days before our big 4th of July Party (Musicians!).

Scott was able to fit me in after an earlier gig finished. When the weather started to turn, Scott was able to quickly switch his set up around without missing a beat. He sang a perfect selection of pop, folk and country tunes that quietly entertained folks while they sheltering in the barn from the weather. When rain stopped, he moved out to the pool area and rocked a couple sets. As the party mellowed out he took requests (the man knows everything) and the event turned into a old time sing-along.

Scott was fantastic. I had a dinner party for my team and we invited Scott to our party. He was very accommodating taking requests and playing music the while night. Great guitar work and vocals were very good.

We recently hired Scott to play background music at my mother's funeral visitation, and then play later in the day at our luncheon. Our services were non-traditional, and it was exactly what my mom would have liked... Scott played all of her favorites (Billy Joel, Van Morrison, Elton John). He helped shape our day into a celebration of my mom's life, and lifted the spirits of everyone in attendance.

Scott was also wonderful to work with, especially during a difficult time. He blocked a few days for us in advance, and was flexible as our plans came together. Our family would recommend him in a heartbeat, and will likely hire him for future engagements.

Scott played for our 10 year anniversary vow renewal. Everyone loved him!! He sang all the right music at all the right times!! He even had a bunch of the group singing with him by the end. We danced and sang along for hours. It was the perfect entertainment for the night!

Our Associantion, had a conference scheduled and had entertainment booked. Unfortunately the talent had a death in the family and canceled 4 day prior to the event. I contacted Scott and he was very accommodating and smoothly took over the gig. We recently hired Scott to play at our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic! He played for the entire event and did a great job of matching the music to the mood of the crowd. Many of our guests came up to us during the event and commented on how great he was and we have to agree. He is very professional, easy to work with, and his music is beautiful.

But by far the thing that stuck out to me the most was how much he truly cared about making our day perfect. He brought extra sound equipment, just in case we needed it. He offered to set up a mic for us to use during the ceremony. He asked lots of questions because he wanted everything to be just right. And although it was not a part of his normal repertoir, he even learned to play the song that my husband and I did our first dance to; and he performed it beautifully. He really went above and beyond to make sure that our event turned out just right.

I would highly recommend Scott to anyone who is considering hiring a musician for their event. He is truly fantastic!

We hired Scott for our company’s annual convention and he was affordable and very likeable. He started off with soft background music during our awards dinner and transitioned to more lively tunes for our casino night event. He was a great hit! Scott was absolutely wonderful when he played at my cousin's bridal shower! From his quick responses to questions leading up the shower to his performance the night of, he was by far the most professional musician I have ever used for an event.
