Matthew was perfect.

Matthew was great. He played really well, and was flexible about where he played in the room so that it wasn't too loud for residents. He also answered questions from the audience when he was finished playing.

Pulled through for us at the last minute. Cannot thank him enough for what he did for our event.

Matthew did such a wonderful job playing for my husband's memorial service. I had him playing outside as people arrived. So many people commented on how much it added to the day.

Matthew was everything I like in a bagpiper. He was personable, on time, and played perfectly. We were able to discuss particulars prior to the memorial service and he confirmed my choices of music as well as suggesting additions of his own. Matt arrived on time, he interacted well with the group, he played not only the selected songs but played along when he was asked to play an AC/DC song! Matthew played at the graveside of my father's inurnment. We really could not have improved upon his contribution in any way. He not only played the selections we requested, but he learned a new one for us, per my father's request. He arrived early, was wearing traditional clothing, and remained a respectful yet noticeable distance form our service. His finishing "Amazing Grace" rendition played as he slowly descended from the gravesite. Further, his bagpipe was a gorgeous instrument with a clear and lovely tone. When my sister Lori passed away at only 49, I want to do something special, letting everyone know that the world had lost an amazing person. I thought about people of greatness, and remember many ocasion on T.V. when important people had passed away bagpipes would always be playing. I just love the sound and idea, so started looking for bagpiper, I had no idea, how I was going to find the right player. After browsing throught Gig Salads lists of bagpipes, reading a few reviews; "Thinking I wish there more" left me still not sure, so with a quick swipe of my scolling finger (like I was spinning a wheel) saying a few prayers of course as the browser click, chick, clicked down the page and finally stopping on Matthew Fleek....The Good Lord answered my prayers.

Matthew played at my mother in-laws funeral. He was on time, professional, courteous, respectful and kind. His bagpipes are amazingly haunting and beautiful at the same time. Every person in the room was in tears. If you need an amazing bagpiper I highly recommend Matthew!

Matthew's performance for my mom's 85th birthday party was amazing. He was very professional, played beautifully, and was open to creative ideas. His willingness to travel down dirt roads and play while walking though a forest on uneven ground was so appreciated. As my mom stated afterwards, "my birthday was already wonderful, but Matthew made it perfect". Thanks to Matthew, a special event became even more memorable.
