Scotty Paulk

Scotty Paulk was professional, and exemplified excellence from the beginning until the end. He’s a superb communicator, easy to work with and aims to please his customers. Scotty performed at a birthday brunch for our organization and was awesome! We would absolutely recommend him for your event.

He arrived at the venue well in advance of his stage time, performed a sound check, played a variety of songs, engaged the audience, and was the consummate professional. He made us "dance."

We hired Scotty Paulk to perform at our wedding in our back yard in Atlanta.

Scotty's quote was very competitive. I emailed back and forth with him a few times and he was quick to answer questions. We spoke on the phone and he was personable and knowledgeable. he sounded experienced and up to the task.

He sent us a spreadsheet with several hundred songs that he knows how to play so we could choose a play list if we wanted.

As the wedding approached, he stayed in contact with us. He even invited us to a show he was doing locally so we could sample the merchandise!

We wanted to have our first dance to "Come to Me" by the Goo Goo Dolls. This was a song Scotty did not know. I asked him about it 3 or 4 weeks prior to the wedding and he said he might be able to learn it. Sure enough, we danced to it at our wedding!

On our wedding Day, Scotty arrived about an hour early to set up and change. He sang, played guitar and DJ'd. He helped with the announcements. He mingled with our guests. He fit right in!

Guest after guest told us how much they liked him. My friend Mary suggested we have Friday night with Scotty every week in the back yard.

If I could give Scotty 6 stars I would! He was fantastic...

Hands down, one of the best entertainers we've hired through GigSalad. The crowd was cheering and clapping and Scotty was very professional and personable. Showed up early, never even had to worry about him being on time. 100% 5 stars!!

Scotty did a great job. The event was a birthday party in a private resident. He communicated prior to his performance about arrival time and any special request. He was very conscientious about the volume level and the crowd. Many of the party goers complimented his song selection and talent. When I asked him to crank it up a bit he did and got some sing along that everyone enjoyed. I would highly recommend him and I will likely use him in the future.

Scotty played my wife’s 40th Bday party. He did a great job and I highly recommend him for any event.

We had a destination event with an international crowd, and Scotty Paulk and his band got everyone on the floor and dancing the night away. They felt the room out: started the evening with energetic but chill music and then turned it up as people got lubricated, fed and loosened up. There were shouts of encore after the last song was sung. On top of their great performance, Scotty was responsive and collaborative from the start. He arrived early with all of his own equipment and lighting ready to go. I didn't have to worry or look for members of the band, they were ALL there early. As an event planner, their self sufficiency translated to one less thing to worry about for me. Scotty and his band totally delivered and surpassed expectations.

Scott was professional, asked the right questions, showed up early, and interacted with the guest. It was a nice experience.

He has 4 stars out of 5 because his profile states that he sings R&B and Hiphop and he doesn't. Would love to have him again for the right crowd.

Scotty played 90s music at our 90s theme party. He arrived early for set up, was very friendly, professional, and did an amazing job! He had the whole party dancing and singing along! Just about every guest mentioned to me what a fabulous musician he is. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I got so much great feedback from party guests--they loved Scotty! We had a luau-themed pool party, and Scotty picked a fun, relaxed setlist that fit the mood perfectly! I was most impressed by how he adapted to our weather challenges. The party started out in blistering heat and then turned to a thunderstorm midway through. Scotty stayed positive and played through. I will definitely be booking him again for future events!

I was relieved that Scotty communicated with me regularly before the event. He was very professional and did a wonderful job entertaining our guests. The music added just the right ambiance to our event.

Scotty came early to set up for my daughter's HS graduation party and was flexible with his set up area due to rain. He set up in our dining room and everyone loved his music and most importantly, his manners. He was respectful, kind and professional. I will hire him again if i need a singer for any occasion..

Scotty was Awesome! He was our entertainment for my husband's 40th birthday party. He arrived early and stayed late for the event and was extremely professional. He played every song we requested and was an awesome musician. He did a mix of acoustic guitar music and also played DJ and provided some great dance music! Extremely flexible and easy to work with! He is a must for any party!

Scotty arrived an hour and half early to set up and do sound check. He totally relaxed us as we were getting ready for our guests. We talked about starting 10 minutes early so that guests would see and hear him as they approached our party...and it worked really well.

Scotty played a wide mix of easy listening music for our guests to enjoy while having conversations....and then at the end of our party, our die hard guest and me and my wife sat with our chairs in front of him and just asked for our favorite songs...we drank under the stars and had our own private show.

We highly recommend Scotty to work your party...he knows enough material to really entertain your guests...Live music just adds that cool factor to your party...if you are thinking that it costs too much...it doesn't....Your guests will truly enjoy the experience and it makes the host look like a hero!!!
