About
With over two decades of experience, Scotty has performed across the U.S., including on TV shows like Extreme Gong, and honed his craft at the world-famous Hollywood Magic shop. He’s also the creator of DIY Magic and Urban Wizards Academy (now Yukon Magic Academy), educational programs that teach kids confidence, creativity, and STEAM concepts through magic, puppetry, and storytelling.
Scotty’s mission is to inspire young people and families by making magic accessible and empowering them with life skills disguised as fun.

Here's a list of technical requirements for a one-person music presentation at a school assembly or county fair, incorporating digital devices like an iPad for looping:
1. Stage Setup
Stage Dimensions: Minimum 10' x 8' to accommodate a solo performer with instruments and equipment.
Table/Riser: Small table or riser (2' x 2') for digital devices like an iPad, laptop, or looping station.
2. Performer’s Equipment
Guitar: Acoustic-electric or electric guitar with necessary cables.
Microphone:
1 vocal microphone (Shure SM58 or equivalent) with boom stand.
iPad/Tablet:
iPad or other tablet with looping software (e.g., Loopy HD, GarageBand).
Secure iPad stand for easy access during performance.
Laptop (optional):
Laptop running DAW software (e.g., Ableton Live) for backing tracks or additional effects.
Audio interface for connecting guitar, microphone, and other inputs.
MIDI Controller (optional):
Small MIDI controller or pad for triggering samples or loops.
Looping Pedal (if not using iPad):
Looping pedal (e.g., Boss RC-30) with footswitch for hands-free control.
3. Sound System
PA System:
2 x 500W powered speakers for front-of-house (FOH).
Subwoofer (optional, depending on venue size).
Mixing console with at least 4 channels.
Monitors:
1 floor monitor for personal sound (preferably with its own mix).
Microphones:
1 vocal microphone (Shure SM58 or equivalent) with boom stand.
