Price Range: $100/hr
Gig Length: 20 - 80 minutes
My performance includes a brief but entertaining introduction of each piece. If there is a cute story to be told, I'm going to tell it! I engage the audience with the music they are about to hear. Composers are quirky people. Mozart wrote his famous clarinet concerto for his poker buddy to perform. Interesting! There will also be corny jokes...I am a musician.
I play a diverse and eclectic range of musical styles, from Baroque all the way to current popular music. I play it well and I play it with feeling.
Sean Reed was a Texas All-State player out of Plano East and attended Texas Tech on a music scholarship. Sean has performed with the Plano, Allen and McKinney Community Bands as well as the Dallas Civic Wind Ensemble and Lone Star Winds. He is most proud of his 20 years as 1st clarinetist with the First Baptist Church Plano Orchestra. In 2017, Sean was invited to perform at the Orfeo Music Festival in the Italian Alps.
