Second Wind came together in 2008, initially as a collaboration between the husband and wife folk / roots music team of Pattie and Marc Davidson and Marc's architectural colleague and close friend David Noferi on accordion. The group added Tom Gallo on mandolin and drums in 2011. The blending of acoustical guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, and accordion created an opportunity to build a repertoire that bridges folk, bluegrass, country, jazz, pop, standards, and unique French songs that Pattie learned as a student while in France many years ago. Marc is a songwriter, with many of his songs performed by Second Wind.
