Devilla is passionate and cheeky bellydancer, extensively trained in classical Egyptian and folkloric styles of Middle Eastern dance. Her own style is a blend of classical raks sharky, fusion, a bit of campy fun, and a love of drama, costuming, make-up and the glamour of Old Hollywood!

DeVilla performs as a soloist and with her troupe Sekhmet Dance Company, for whom she functions as Artistic Director.

Equally at home onstage and behind the scenes, DeVilla packs a double punch by seamlessly integrating her two full time careers—professional make-up artist and professional dancer. Sekhmet Dance Company shows are marked by an added level of professionalism and polish. Our resident make-up artist perfects our styling, make-up, costuming and hair to movie quality, like no other bellydance troupe.

For certain shows the height of the ceiling may need to be discussed. It is very important to know if the show is indoor our outdoor and if the use of real fire is permitted.

Many of our choreographies are set to canned music, so we will need a sound system, unless live music is available. In either case, we need to know your music preferences and equipment in advance.

It is also crucial for us to know the dance space and the floor surface so we know how many dancers will fit into your venue.
