SERAFIA pronounced (sah-rah-fee-yah) is a world-class jazz, blues, soul and RNB singer/songwriter with a distinctive rich texture, surgical delivery, and a 4 octave range! Based in Los Angeles, Serafia has been a back up singer for numerous acts, including top 40 Grammy winning duo, The Chainsmokers, has opened up for The Temptations, and has sang the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium 2x! Serafia and her band can perform as a duo, trio or quartet and will add amazing class and elegance to your event!

Everything about working with Serafia and her group was super easy and professional. I hired her for a Juneteenth happy hour at my retirement community, and she performed and interacted with my residents flawlessly. From the first interaction to post, working with Serafia has been great.
I have worked with a lot of vendors, and after a few songs and seeing how she interacted with my residents, I knew I had made the right choice in booking her. She customized her set into a great blend of old and new, while keeping her smooth and positive vibe throughout. I am so glad I booked her!

Serafia was exactly the type of performance and style I was looking for. I’m so happy I happened to stumble on her info from this app. I had a 40th birthday Prom theme and she took the songs I requested and made them her own. She brought a wonderful guitarist and they made my night super special with the performance! She has such a great energy and the guests enjoyed her music! After booking her for my party, I started following some of her past events and history through social media. She has unique story to tell about how she grew up and some of the challenges along the way. She has really become a great artist and I can’t wait to see what things she does in the future! Serafia and her guitarist were able to perform for my friend, who is disabled and bedridden, on her birthday at her apartment, and it was a beautiful experience. Serafia was able to perform the day-of, which I really appreciated, and has a beautiful, soulful voice that brought my friend to tears. I can’t even begin. Where do I begin? Serafia is absolutely out of this world. She performed at my wedding this past weekend. Her voice is angelic with soul and just unbelievable. She was super easy to communicate with and offered a lot of flexibility. She blew my wedding guests away singling songs. She walked around the venue and actually surprised people because they thought what they were listening to was an audio recording. It was not not. She also has a serene presence about her and looked amazing. She seriously surpassed my wildest expectations for a wedding vocalist and made me look really good too because I was able to find her. In all honestly it was luck! Thanks to Gig Salad and Serafia’s thankful availability for the day. Im so lucky and one happy bride. She’s seriously amazing tho.

What to Expect
Hello there! Whatever you need musically, we've got it! We have our own sound system and can perform in any musical combo you need. A duo of guitar and vocals, a trio of guitar, bass, and vocals, or a quartet of guitar, vocals, bass and drums. It's all up to you as far as what you're envisioning for your event! We can also help you figure out what kind of setup would be best! We're pros! As far as style, we specialize in elegant jazz, blues, soul and R&B etc, but we can also play country, rock, and pop tunes as well!
