Serenata Duo is a professional group made up of extraordinarily talented musicians. The Duo provides a wide selection of music, from Disney to Classical. We perform in and around the state of North Carolina for all types of events, including weddings, parties, receptions, banquets, and more! Serenata Duo’s passion is that their music would inspire the next generation of young musicians.
When one thinks of a small strings group, images may be conjured up of a group of older people, playing music without life and vibrancy,… kind of like watching your favorite tv show in black and white or listening to your favorite music through an old transistor radio. -Definitely, not exciting!…Serenata duo, breaks those stereotypes, shatters the status quo, and will change your mind of what you think a strings duo can be!
Alyssa and Tyler are two incredibly gifted performers, Alyssa on the violin/ viola performs as a true virtuoso, with an artistic flair and joy for her craft that radiates from her as she plays. Tyler on the cello, is quiet and unassuming- until that is, He strikes his bow across the strings. Accompanying them is Kristin, who’s talent at the keyboard is nothing short of breathtaking.
You combine this with the groups youthful, exciting, and exuberance for what they are doing, you get Serenta duo. Bold, passionate, articulate, and simply amazing.
