Their experience is evident in each performance. I've seen their same show tailored to fit two distinct audiences, each time with success. I was so surprised that some of the more serious people in our office totally opened up to interacting with them-- so funny! They seemed like warm people before and after the show.
I saw Seth & Emily in three different shows and they were terrific. They were very professional and people responded really well to them. One of the shows was for kids, and they were so good with them, the kids all ran up to hug them at the end.

Seth came to our University for three days to generate excitement for a series of campus events. He spent the first two days on stilts, walking around campus, passing out flyers, and interacting with students. The third day he did the same but in character. Leading up to the event he was conscientious about learning as much as possible about the University and the event. Once he arrived on campus, he really bought into what we were trying to achieve. The students seemed to enjoy their interactions with Seth, and the stilts definitely did the job of generating interest. I would happily work with him again.
I hired Seth and Emily Carpenter to perform in a summer concert series organized by our local university. We didn't even have to wait for feedback from our clients...we could sense it was a great decision to hire them right out of the gate. They had the audience engaged, laughing, and nudging eachother in their seats. They really committed to their characters and drew the audience in immediately. The response from our customers was overwhelming--they loved every minute of the performance that night, and left us comments about how their cheeks hurt they were smiling and laughing so much.
Not only did Seth and Emily know how to please the crowd, but as a vendor they also met our corporate expectations, and worked within the parameters we supplied. They were organized, provided contracts in a prompt amount of time, and worked with us to make sure they were meeting our expectations.
We were so pleased with their performance that we continued to use them as entertainers and performers for several events, including summer concert series, character performers during weekend retreats, and even used them as a diseuse when needed.

Seth and Emily are a team of skilled actors whose strong improvisational

perfect fit. While performing as a team since 2003, they have developed the capacity to read audiences and deliver just the amount of interaction and involvement that will draw in the participants and onlookers alike.
Crowds of all sizes respond immediately to their highly interactive style. Whether standing in line or sitting and waiting, people are eager to engage and play along with the characters for any length of time. They delight with everything from a brief exchange to a 45 minute improv show with audience participation.
They have created an array of characters that work in tandem or solo. They are are available individually as well as in a team, depending upon the requirements of the event. There is generally more flexibility in scheduling when utilizing a single member of the team, although both are available provided there is sufficient notice ahead of time.
Seth and Emily trained and performed with Cirque du Soleil as character clowns. They have also have experience with Second City and TheatreSports. Their material can be tailored to accommodate the specific needs and interests of clients, audiences or events.
