Overview
Greetings! The name is Seth Jamison, and I'm a solo acoustic and singing guitarist who's been playing music for almost 17 years and have been gigging professionally for almost 10 years. I like to consider myself a jack of all traits: I'll play and sing virtually any style of music and I am incredibly flexible and open to whatever my clients need me to do. I play Wedding Ceremonies, Cocktail Hours, Dinners, and even Special Dances. I'll play for Corporate events, Private Events, Birthday Parties, Graduation Parties...I'll play for anything. I also provide all of my own gear and equipment so as long as I have enough space, power, and adequate cover (if outside) I can play anywhere!

My daughters wanted a chill graduation party so we rented out their favorite coffee shop and hired Seth to perform. As their friends and family enjoyed their favorite drink and each other’s company, Seth provided the perfect ambiance. It couldn’t have been a better experience.

About
A Des Moines native, Seth has been playing music for over 15 years. At the age of
18, Seth received a scholarship to attend the Los Angeles Music Academy (now
known as the Los Angeles College of Music). He holds an Associate of Arts Degree
in Guitar Performance from the prestigious school. There, he learned from world
class musicians such as Jody Fisher, Bill Fowler, Tariqh Akoni (musical director for
Josh Groban), German Shauss, Dave Hill, Art Renshaw, and Andy Abad.
Seth has worked with artists such as Sheila E. (The E family), Phillip Bynoe (bassist
for Steve Vai), Nikhil Korula (who has opened for Jason Mraz, John Mayer, and the
Dave Matthews Band), Jesse Allen (who has opened for Cody Johnson, Blackhawk,
Dierks Bentley, and more) Damon Dotson (who has opened for Huey Lewis, The
Beach Boys, and more) producers Andrew Murdock (who produced Godsmack)
and John Avila (former bassist for Oingo Boingo) just to name a few.
Seth now resides in Des Moines and is a professional musician, teaching privately
and regularly playing gigs.
Additional Booking Notes
I only require adequate cover if the gig is outside. Other than that I do not have any technical requirements. I provide all of my own sound/gear.
