Seth K. Thomas

As an emcee, what you can expect is great execution. My goal as an emcee is to help make the client's vision a reality. My shows are my time to shine. I believe that when emceeing the focus is the event and that's where my energies go.
That said, you can expect jokes, high context jokes, stories, fun interactions with audience members. If there is a DJ, dance breaks.
If there is a tight agenda, you can expect excellent time management done with fun.

I'm Seth K. Thomas. I'm a comedian and writer and master of ceremonies. I hosted a wedding recently and someone in attendance said, "you should do this more often" so I decide to do this more.

A little about my background as it relates to being an emcee.
I am a graduate of the Clark Atlanta University theater program. I know how to perform.
I am a graduate of the Second City Conservatory, Chicago. I am trained in improv, characters, and the creation. I was one half of the award winning comedy duo The Defiant Thomas Brothers as well as actor, teacher, and director at The Second City Chicago. I do this.

I've been hosting functions and emceeing events for as long as I can remember.
I really cut my teeth in college hosting Homecoming events. The large crowds provided me the opportunity to learn how to make people in massive crowds feel seen. Over the last few decades I have hosted weddings, birthday parties, award shows, retirement parties, and roasts.

All I need is a microphone and a sound system. And even that depends on the size of the room. I have the ability to hit the back wall with my voice.
