I have hired Sevdha for a number of events (Bollywood, Belly Dance, Snake Charming, Henna Art) - she is an incredibly outstanding dance & henna artist - knows her genres extremely well - and is a great entertainer! Not all dancers can pull off a great professional show and engage the audience the way she does! Plus her costumes are exquisite! As a henna artist, she is incomparable! I highly recommend Sevdha!

What a great addition to a party! Having Sevy at your party will make the crowd excited and entertained! This definitely a sweet addition to patty fun and your party will be remembered for years to come! I also added an additional service for the ladies of the party which was having henna done to their hands while they were here. When I was asked to do a review, I was actually excited! Sevdha has done a few events for my friends and family. Not only is she very talented at dancing, but she is also a very talented henna artist and painter and a pleasure to work with all around. She did both henna and dancing for our events. And she does what she does very well! We're a fan. Team Sevdha!

Sorry but you asked for my review and I would have to say...Sevdha was definitely not worth the money we paid $500.00.
I, the party planner, supplied Sevdha with an email giving her detailed instructions on how to get to the house. I told her the name of the 80th Birthday man, Dale Dickey and the name of the wife, Alice Dickey that was paying for everything. So she had everything in writing and still she called me, the party planner, after I specifically told her I would be unavailable on that night.
Sevdha and her partner showed up unprepared in all ways. She didn't read my email therefore she had trouble finding the house. Sevdha was also not prepared with the music. This was supposed to be a surprise party. They showed up at the house then left to find music. The element surprise of course was then lost. Sevha’s partner then started dancing in front of one of the guests and not the Birthday man Dale Dickey.
To summarize, we paid for professional dancers at professional prices and received amateurs and unprofessional services.

I am terribly sorry. I certainly concede that the music preparation fiasco was very unprofessional, and also very uncharacteristic. Due to an unfortunate circumstance (including getting a flat tire), I was unable to prepare the backup CD that would have prevented that from happening. However, I’d like to add: As we were waiting outside, we were invited in by the wife and introduced to the birthday person when we came in. We even thought it was strange to be introduced beforehand, having known it was a surprise party. We did give the birthday person the most attention of anyone. To say that we deserved 1 star across the board is a little steep I think, and to refer to our services as “amateur” when our costumes & props were highly professional, and our show was no less than in the videos used to book us. Despite the later start, we did what was asked, threw in additional props for free and were tipped rather nicely and had a great time. Our sincere apologies and thank you.
