Dr. Brian “Beam” Maue acquired an "alphabet soup" of knowledge credentials regarding human and organizational behavior (PhD, MBA, BA, Certificates, etc.) and then tested them in the real world. He co-created and led the startup years of a new Air Force innovation organization--AFWERX--and in just three years’ time, Beam and the AFWERX team turned a Pentagon idea into an actual organization that Fast Company ranked as #16 in the world as a “Best Workplace for Innovators” (out of 865 organizations evaluated). For comparison, Amazon was ranked #18 that year.
Beam’s prior experiences included teaching at the Air Force Academy’s Department of Management as well as the National Military Academy of Afghanistan. He has coached youth soccer, served as a Cub Scouts den leader, and guided five kiddos with his wife, which have provided more informal human behavior insights (and humor!).
Beam currently serves as a Principal at TiER1 Performance consulting.
